因為公司食開The Butchers Club 既burger. Big Jo's 成為公司樓下得個講但從未試過既餐廳...雖然大家對佢個grilled cheese都趨之若鶩但都無人付諸行動... 男友今日又黎灣仔, 所以lunch就一齊一試...位置係街市, 糙米家對面...冷氣好大, 早知拎件cardigan啦...我地叫左 Big's Jo Burger Combo(+ coke & chips)同 Big Jo's Steak Sandwich with extra cheese... Big's Jo Burger: Pattie is pink and blood is dripping. I don't think it is cooked enough, because it is thick but unbelievably soft. Seasoned not enough and tasteless. There are also pickles, really sour. I don't like it . Tomato is thick slice. Cheese and lettuce is also in the burger, but nothing much to say. The burger is too big and my jaw is nearly broke. Chips: Hot served. It is crispy on the outside and soft inside. I like this chips but I think it needs more salt. Now I need to cover it by ketchup. Big Jo's Steak Sandwich extra cheese: The size is bigger than the burger. My order added $10 for cheese and I proud of my decision . The bread is "Macau Pork Bun" or "Cafe de Coral/ Fairwood Pork Bun" Bun. It is a little bit hard but have crispy surface . I like this choice of bread. The lettuce is mixed with the sauce, but still keep its crunchiness. Delicious ! The steak is thin as Yoshinoya. Steak tastes underseasoned . However, the flavour is elevated by cheese . The saltiness is perfect balanced. However, I do not aware of the tomato. I was full halfway and forced my boyfriend to finish it. The burger here is not the best thing here and I prefer The Butchers Club for burger surely. But I will definitly come here again for Steak Sandwich!!! Try it! Love it. 繼續閱讀

隱蔽過江龍漢堡店。型格寬敞。夏威夷雞堡肉汁嫩滑。如在附近, 不妨一試。Comfy, casual burger joint from USA.Delicious chicken burger.Great for lunch, happy hour & dinner.Worth a try!This new burger joint is tucked away behind some stall at Gleeson Street. The entrance is fairly nondescript and easily missed.The setting is similar to "Slim's" next to Pacific Place 3 but far more spacious with club music playing in the background.Big Jo's originated from the USA, Santa Monica to be precise. This is their first overseas branch. A number of partners are now stationed in Hong Kong permanently. I understand that Big Jo's is run by a Korean family in the States. Apparently, their staff had undergone training there before they started making burgers in Hong Kong. There were quite a lot of Korean and American customers when I went. The tables were reasonably spaced out so it was comfortable. Much better than Beef & Liberty or Butcher's Club.I was introduced to the person-in-charge. I assumed that he was called Jo. But actually, he's called Steve. Without further ado, I ordered a Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki Burger ($70) and a pint of draft Stella while I wait for my burger. ($50 during HH)Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki:It arrived after a short wait. Looked very decent.The chicken teriyaki was meaty, tender and succulent. The teriyaki flavour was just right and mixed well with the mayo. I enjoyed the caramalized onions as well. The grilled pineapple was a really nice touch. I prefer this than the burger served at Beef & Liberty and Shake'em buns. Those were overpriced, bland and dry.In sum, this was a wonderful burger. Had I known about the quality of the chicken teriyaki beforehand, I would have orderd an extra patty (+$25).  My friend ordered Big Jo's burger and chips. He was happy with his burger too. The chips were also nicely done, being crisp on the outside but soft inside. This went down really well with my 2nd (or 3rd) pint of Stella.All in all, a wonderful place to chill out, have a burger and a pint (or two.) Tried the portobello burger here before and loved the grilled juicy portobello mushroom they used. It is quite hard to find good vegetarian burgers in town, and this is one of the very few places where you can get very satisfying yet healthy burgers (despite that they seem to focus more on the use of USDA hand pressed beef patty). Great for green monday lunch. The choice this time was Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Saw the last reviews on this, and wanted to try and see if it is better than what I made at home. I asked for mushroom to be added. The toast was slightly charred and the melted cheese inside was oozing. It was simply delightful. The cheese is fairly oily (which is good) and soft, perfect with the cripsy toast. They said they'd recently changed the cheese, and I am sure they will get very good feedback on this. 繼續閱讀

Big Jo’s 裝修簡單有型,食物選擇貴精不貴多。雖然單點份Mushroom Steak Sandwich 要成$100,連set仲要$120(薯條+罐裝汽水),但食完之後你就會覺得好甘心俾呢$100。Sandwich包身幾有咬口,份steak好入味,最重要係有大量溶溶地既cheese,同埋炒得好香但又有少少軟身既onion,夾埋一齊食簡直快樂過神仙。反而薯條就普通貨,建議大家都係單叫份sandwich enjoy下! 繼續閱讀
