Cyberport is really far away so I hope they open another branch, but I think Cyberport would be a good location for them because their vibrant themes and designs would match those settings.
I love their froyos but last time I could only try two flavours so I did not try the original.
This time I ordered the Original Tart and I wished they had Taro too because that was my favourite as well.
I am also really gutted I havent their other wacky froyo flavours such as: Chocolate mint toothpaste, hazelnut chocolate, pistachio and greet tea!
Anyway, I hope to try their pizza soon before they move because they are all VEGETARIAN!! and I was surprised by the vegetarian beef and chicken ingredients, If I do make it before they move I hope I can try some other froyo flavours too.
I have always wanted to try this Froyo joint but never got round to going.Anyway, the taro froyo was the one I have always wanted to try and the Indian alphonso mango as well. The interesting thing is Joda's cup had a green mango slush as well that was nice.I like any mango flavours as long as they are not the Orange coloured ones sold in HK. The interesting thing is Joda's cup [which used to be located opposite this place] had a green mango slush as well that was nice.
I like any mango flavours as long as they are not the Orange coloured ones sold in HK. I don’t know what type of mango that is, but it has a taste that I do not like. The type that I like is the Australian mango, which is red and green on the outside.
Anyway there were only four flavours that day: Alphonso mango, Taro, Strawberries and Cream, green tea and original.
I was only allowed to sample two flavours, which was disappointing because if they did taste nice I would have got an extra cup of yoghurt. I tried the Alphonso mango, which was slightly slushy, and the other one I tried was the strawberries and cream.
I wanted to try the green tea and original flavour as well, but I had already tried two samples so I couldn’t try anymore.
So in the end I just got the Taro froyo. The taro flavour was really nice; it was the taste I was expecting but did not get from Razzleberry. Razzleberry had a really nice concept, but their froyo let them down. The tartness was really pleasant and not acidic yet creamy at the same time. As for the strawberries and cream it tasted like fresh strawberries grounded with cream. On my next visit I want to try the original and green tea froyo and other interesting flavours which they might have.

Yogurtime is also creative, they have so many flavours, but when I went they were just serving the basic flavours such as chocolate, mango, eurotart.

EskiMo feels a bit different from other shops. First, the colors and name were unlike others I've seen. You can tell when decorations for a shop are expensive, and I sensed that the investor/owner for this shop really invested to make it look and feel nice. The big problem is that I think that the shop should have better and more seating. I was a bit uncomfortable sitting in a high (above the floor) chair on a counter. And it's not an easy place to have a conversation with someone. But let

But let me move reviewing the product and service...
This place is not self-serve so someone goes and gets the yogurt and you can only choose one. I chose the Mango flavor, which was recommended by the staff. In my cup, I saw that the yogurt was too melted and runny. When I tasted it, the yogurt was also too soft. Perhaps it was the staff, or perhaps it was the machine, or perhaps that's just the yogurt they serve or all of the above. If it is the yogurt, then it was very disappointing It melted too quickly. The other issue was the flavor. It's a good tasting yogurt, but I think it was not yogurt / tart enough. And Cookies & Cream just tasted plain weird, did not taste like Oreo yogurt at all, and I have tasted really good Cookies & Cream. I noticed their machines are white color and I've not seen it any other yogurt shop so perhaps that has hurt their ability to make better yogurt.
One of the main reasons why I wouldn't give this shop very low rating is the service was great. The guy at the counter was very friendly and because I was the only customer in the shop (which actually surprised me since it was after dinner, around 9-ish), he spent time to explain each flavor and topping. That was impressive, his knowledge but also his patience and helpfulness. If he's still there, I hope he gets a raise or a promotion because he's one of the best staff I've seen in a yogurt shop so far. He even offered water to me later. Very cool.
Unfortunately, without a quality yogurt product (toppings were okay), and a better way to serve it, I'm not able to give a high rating. I'm so used to self-serve so if I have to pay extra for each topping, then I don't enjoy the experience. I prefer to control topping portions, and I can't do that here. Loved the mochi though. The staff told me it's homemade and I loved the flavor and texture of the mochi.
Overall, it's worth a try and maybe one more try. But unfortunately, the yogurt product's taste and texture is not for most people. Some people in HK may enjoy the differences, but not many. I personally didn't like the yogurt and probably won't be back until they create something new. In some ways, I like this shop, so I hope they are able to deliver an improved product.
