啱啱去咗FINDS食歐洲菜,搞到我個胃好滿足噢💫!第一樣就係啲Snaps,跟D友人分享靈魂美酒😌,每杯都清新得嚟辛辣有力,非常提神!次序攞錯啦,但個Veal Wallenbergare叫我驚喜,個"唔係漢堡"既牛肉咸香嫩滑,伴隨果汁意粉一齊過嚟,食落真係滋味無窮,好滑口👍!Dim sum拼盤都正!瑞典肉丸嘅味道就真係正宗得嚟溫暖,每粒彈牙咁開心彈入到我雙唇之間。留戀喺我嘴巴嘅香韻,都幾撚令人懷念。最後,個瑞士朱古力布朗尼,味道香濃,朱古力控都話正!💯呢度既酒去到夜晚由餐廳變Lounge,環境好有格調,仲有靚仔靚女!花少少錢,齋食飽我齋滿足,FINDS你真係唔賤擱大碟呀!🎉

This is a compilation of several visits, and I was initially going to just post it as a pictorial, but decided to write a little something, for FINDS is being relocated to the Luxe Manor in TST very soon!Bread Basket – Reasonably good baguette, the other, which was a homemade brown bread sweetened with raisins had a really weird burnt taste which none of my friends appreciated. Bread Basket – Reasonably good baguette, the other, which was a homemade brown bread sweetened with raisins had a really weird burnt taste which none of my friends appreciated.

Salmon Skewers($38/1) – Considering the size of these skewers, $38 is definitely not cheap, but they were grilled so well – the brown marks gave for a crispy texture from the Maillard reaction. The orange sauce is a thousand island sauce, and the other (yellow-green) is a lemon-something sauce which none of us were fans of. 7.5/10

Zucchini Skewers ($28/2) were not bad on my first visit, but on the second the skin was bitter – this often happens when the skin is not scrubbed well enough before grilling, or if the zucchini was bruised/bad. The sauces were pesto and salsa for this one. 6/10

Salmon and Shrimp Balls ($88) is from their ‘Scapas’ menu – it doesn’t have a very attractive name, but I can assure you these are a must-order especially if you just want nibbles! The ‘balls’ were essentially minced shrimp and salmon paste coated in a very thin bread-crumb layer and deep fried. The ingredients were very fresh, and the outside was crunchy. I liked them plain, but there’s a thousand island sauce accompanying them which was also tasty. 9/10

Smoked Salmon Salad ($98) was a generous portion (they have an even larger one as ‘main’ for almost double the price but we were here to taste!), and the smoked salmon is house-smoked, very different from the gravlax (semi-translucent smoked salmon) I usually come across. I think it should be called ‘crumbled salmon’ to be less confusing, as it was fully cooked. Anyway, the mix of greens (mesclun, purple cabbage) were fresh, and the creamy dressing (a Swedish mustard-dill sauce) was tasty, and they didn’t over-dress the greens in any way. 8/10

Asparagus and morels risotto ($168) is the only vegetarian dish on the menu, and arrives as a stunning plate of food. The menu description mentions a ‘truffle-poached egg’, but ours (on two occasions) was just a simple poached egg without any taste or scent of truffles – it was perfectly poached and definitely even better when broken on top of the rice. Surrounding the risotto and poached egg are white and green asparagus with some pan-fried wild morels in a light shallot confit vinaigrette with pink peppercorns. Peppercorns would’ve been better if they were ground rather than whole or half pieces, but peppercorns aside, the whole dish was really tasty although incredibly filling! No sides and no appetizer or dessert needed if you want to finish this one! The risotto was cooked to a soft –to-al dente texture, so a bit less time on the stove would’ve been better for me, but then again my dining partner thought it was the right texture. One of the better risottos I’ve had, the rice was seasoned very well and there was a hint of butter which didn’t over-whelm the dish either – would recommend this! 8/10

Blackened Sea Bass ($218) was another main I ordered. It is cooked by pan-frying it in really hot oil to achieve a crispy (black) skin, and the other side is more gently pan-fried till it is done. On the plate was a cauliflower puree and some roasted fava beans and cauliflower. The sea bass fillet was very well cooked, and was moist and soft, reminding me of a rosemary grilled sea bass I had at Dot Cod… The seasoning on this fish could have been more balanced as the skin had parts that were really salty and other parts which were quite bland. Also, the plate could have used more sauce (‘Vierge’) as I couldn’t really identify the taste of it and my sea bass needed some seasoning! 6.5/10

Dessert Trio ($98) – was disappointing for me. On the plate was their DAIM parfait brownie, a small square of Baileys cheesecake and a slice of a lemon tart with a red berry sauce. The Baileys cheesecake had a strong taste of Baileys, definitely true to the name, but I thought the texture of the cheesecake was way too dense and could be slightly lighter and creamier. The lemon tart with stewed rhubarb had a soggy base, but base aside, eaten with the berry sauce on the side gave a nice tart and sweet flavour. The DAIM parfait was a tiny piece of brownie-like cookie with some mousse, caramel, chocolate and a nougat which definitely tasted like a DAIM candy but could’ve improved in terms of appearance and textures – the mousse was almost liquid and the cookie didn’t taste chewy/soft or crunchy/hard….weird for me. Nonetheless I also think this dessert trio platter was a worsened version than say, ordering one dessert which would’ve been served as a whole dessert therefore could’ve taste more ‘fresh’. 5/10

All in all a reasonably good experience! =)

FINDS has been doing molecular cocktails for a while now, before other shops such as Mira's Lounge, Shangri-la's Tapas Bar, SOHO 8, etc, started to follow suit. Although 'Traditionalists' always seem to reject anything to do with 分子料理, it is often because there are misunderstandings of their broad definition and what it can comprise of, especially with regards to Food Science... When it comes to Molecular Drinks however, it is true that they often only borrow the Molecular Food's playful techniques and then try to charge you more for it, whether it works or not ! The base drink was ok-good in fact, and using some exotic ingredients to justify its high price tag of $110.

This drink's Earl Grey foam on top didn't even had the Bergamot or Tea aroma... the sodium alginate pearls made with earl grey tea, also lacked the advertised tea flavour, also being too solid rather than popping in the mouth like 'caviar's... I suspect they've been made for too long before serving as it had solidified, as the WHOLEPOINT of doing Molecular Ravioli or Pearls, is so that underneath the 'skin layer', they retain the original flavour inside as liquid. Here it failed to achieve this. Perhaps a Reverse Calcium Chloride/Sodium Alginate method might help, as they don't turn from runny to solid as easily.

Went to Finds on Nov 4 with 3 friends, this is my second time to this restaurant, this time is kinda disappointing, the steak that I had was very much over cooked, all I wanted was medium rare, the soup was also not too warm when it came out from the kitchen. It was the same for my friend's steak. Don't Know what happened to their kitchen. 2 months ago was alot better. the restaurant is comfortable and nice, but this time the food is really soso, hope they will improve thrie standard soon...., w

以為 Friday Night 呢度無 book 會無位,但好彩都有 bar table 坐住先見到 d bar tender 不停調酒,仲勁流汗!order 了 Apple Sake - green apple, sake, apple schnapps, lime juice, vodka - 味道第一淡覺得佢溝得難飲,之後就係無味,個 green apple 佢切到細細粒,但就吸晒淨酒精的味道,唔建議食埋佢個 DJ 播到 d 音樂大聲到,完全係聽唔到人講野,又 order 唔到,大家叫到聲沙,無乜心情黎多 round...d prices 係 reasonable 囉裝飾幾靚既,見到有人竟然係度食 dinner....

I usually come to FINDS during late nite on weekends. In my memory, FINDS is a packed and exciting venue for drinks and dance. Last Thursday, I'm attending a friend's birthday party at FINDS. This was the first time I dined at FINDS. Their salmon dish was quite amazing, I never noticed before FINDS is serving such a high quality food. Beside, the atmosphere is completely different than the late nite party venue, it was very romantic and the DJ is playing very sexy and grooving music. Lastly, the

由「三文魚六重奏」,分別是紅菜頭漬三文魚柳、煙三文魚慕絲、煙三文魚籽伴蒸蛋、烤三文魚卷、漬三文魚伴漬甘筍及冷熱燻三文魚柳,由大廚解釋過先後次序後,開始慢嚐。以紅菜頭漬三文魚柳(BEETROOT-GRAVAD LAX)開始,薄片的鮮嫩魚柳帶點檸檬汁的酸,微甜該是來見不著的紅菜頭,一點點果酸令三文變得輕巧卻不失魚柳軟熟彈性,是開胃輕鬆小品。

然後的煙三文魚慕絲,是薯蓉與煙魚腩打成的蓉,帶很重煙香,靠著番茄蓉中和了濃濃燻香,燻魚腩外也有鮮魚腩蓉的油潤味道,很豐富。之後的煙三文魚籽伴蒸蛋,巧妙地連三文魚籽入饌,由於燻過口感是應有的黏腍,外衣的燻香與魚籽的鮮配合得不錯,如蒸蛋換作豆腐,多點東方元素也不錯。

烤三文魚卷,細嫩的挪威魚背脊著微微燻香,不油,表面有少Fennel籽令焦面多添微脆感,伴碟的牛油果蓉細滑,而點點的檸檬酸與海魚是不錯配搭。吃了幾味,舌頭也有點累,約2cmX2cm的漬三文魚方磚味正好讓味蕾醒一醒,迎接最後的冷煙燻三文魚。冷吃的燻三文魚柳,丁方的魚柳味道帶著意想不到的霸道燻香,新鮮刁替三文作一點的High Light,味道簡單直,味蕾卻留下難忘的回憶。

緊接下來是龍蝦湯,之前喝小口維京傳統的Aquavit消消膩,用冰座坐鎮,酒精度極高一Shoot可KO...別的地方喝不到,醉也要一嚐。濃滑的龍蝦湯上置著薄片Fennel,靠近奶白色澤較一般橙色龍蝦湯不同,蝦湯味道平實,後加忌廉令湯變得更滑溜,下了些Tarragon及新鮮刁草令味道不至單調,干邑似有還無的輕輕帶過,最得意是軟腍的龍蝦慕絲,吸受了濃猾湯後,令本來已很滿足的肚子變得更滿足...

主角姍姍來遲,是招牌House Smoke Norwegian Salmon,熱碟盛著三小件淺粉色三文魚柳,舖上小輟新鮮刁草,簡單的招牌組合,伴有摩利菌醬及自製果醋。三文魚做法老實,非新興的慢煮,魚柳烤得緊熟,未至於溏芯,但吃起來細嫩軟滑,片塊的魚柳外而內滲著果木燻香,油甘比中和了,一點點油潤加上刁草作用,很輕易能清碟,伴碟的摩利菌醬成本不菲,香濃美味,用作多士Dipping也會很好吃。

淺嚐過北國大廚處理魚類的技巧,簡單的三文魚Tapas,也可變化出六種不同風格,各部分也演繹出色,難得亦難忘。與主人家閒聊至深宵,笑言在本地經營餐廳不易,連招牌作也未試過的客來胡扯一番,主菜款式不夠多嗎?試過這三文六重奏再說吧。

是間有意思的餐廳,惟一不好是Tapas花多眼亂,希望牛年後的新餐牌會精簡一點。

Have a dinner there on Tuesday, Champagne was $60 for one is so gd price haha! Order the the Wallenberger very very good. the mash potato .... must try item i think. Will go there again as the staff told me have 2for1 main course on every Monday. Will bring my girl friend to go next time.

Was in FINDS over the weekend. Firstly Friday Happy Hour about 6pm. Wasn't sure at first, but glad I went. Good happy Hour deal instead of the usual 241, it's discounted so at least I can choose my second drink. Omigod stayed till 11pm when it changed from restaurant to a lounge bar, very cool..HHmmm quite a few nicely dressed guys & girls. Try their yummy cocktails..Haust & VinterHad a bit of a headache on Saturday but since I was entertaining some guests from overseas decided to go to FIN

Had a bit of a headache on Saturday but since I was entertaining some guests from overseas decided to go to FINDS for dinner this time. Was really impressed with the extensive Scandinavian Menu...went for their signature dish "Veal Wallenberger", thought it was a burger but not really.. my friend went for the Hot & Cold Sea Platter.
Suggest try the reindeer tartar, something more unusual.

It got a bit more loungy/clubby feel towards the late evening, lights were dimmed, and candlelights all over the place, very romantic. Great house music better than the usual hip hop beats. Would definately reccommend to people whether in a group or couples, this place accommodate for all.

I had a dinner with girl friend. The renovation is good though but not on the food.The signature dishes are small in quantity and moderate on the taste.Service is ok but I expect more if it bills up to 500 per head.What we ordered are a signatured starter, a beef tenderloin and a cod, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine.

It was a "date" night for my husband and me last Friday and we had been meaning to check out Finds (the scandanvian restaurant)... The ambience was quite nice (more like a cocktail lounge than a proper restaurant) but it was a little loud.We ordered Lamb Shank and Salmon for our mains but were a little disappointed that it was very average. We had some side vegetables with us and it was also quite salty.I wouldn't be going back for quite sometime. But if you'd like to have a drink and a group

I wouldn't be going back for quite sometime. But if you'd like to have a drink and a group for tapas style dining, i'd recommend it.

Environment: Comfortable, not so crowded. Simple and nice decorated. It is a good place for a lunch cost less than $100, where you do not need to eat hurry, nor have to raise your voice when you speak(If you are working and having lunch in Central everyday, you know what I mean…). The only con is a bit far, got to walk all the way up to the LKF tower. Food: The main dishes taste awesome. The soup and bread are all-you-can-eat(set lunch).Salad Bar – It really depends on the day of salad selection

Salad Bar – It really depends on the day of salad selections. My first visit was really great, the vegetable was fresh, and the variety and combination of seafood and fruit are appealing; however, the second time was not as pleasing and fresh.
Soup – Both Western and Chinese Style are available. Quite good.
One of the中湯 I tasted was 東瓜瘦肉湯, very good, I refilled 2 times, the 東瓜 was cut in small cube size. Fresh and delicious.
Main Dish: I tried the Lamb Knee and the Chicken meat roll. Both worth a try.

Price: $98 per head for Soup, Bread, and Main Dish combination. (Recommend)

Perhaps it's burnt-out syndrome after Chinese New Year, or anticipation ofthe rip-off meals for Valentine's, there were only 2-3 tables of diners at FINDS on the night my friend and I went. We partly chose it because it's one of the nicer restaurants on the goodtimes list of restaurants, buy 1 get 1 free, can't get better than that.The signature cocktails are lovely and we asked the waiter to pick two girly drinks for us, all pinkish and adorable. The bread platter consisted of 3 types: white, rye crackers, and a sweetly spiced dark bread. All very nice, but we were half full by the time the food came.

I had a Lavaret fish which is supposedly Scandinavian, and my friend tried the Venison. The fish came with the over-hyped-but-none-the-less rather impressive foam over it, and the chanterelle risotto was a bit too sticky, but overall the flavours complimented each other (as the fish tasted quite bland). There were about 5-6 thick slices of bite-size venison meat, whic was tender, no-chewy-bits, and quite gamey in taste, not for those who don't like that sort of flavour, but a pleasure for those who love game meat.

The waiters need some attention-training-workshop, it took a bit of flapping about to flag one down to get the bill, which took an unusually long time. Despite the meal deal, it was not cheap for 1 drink and a main course each. But if you come for the atmosphere and the livelier crowds on weekends, it's a nice place to hang out and chill. I've tried the scapas on a different occasion, which goes well with drinks (and it's free from 6-7 HH).

I have been to FINDS to dinner & drinks a few time and I'm never disappointed. Honestly I dont't remember any bars / lounges in HK serving cocktails with such high quality. Their Scandinavian cocktail is a must-try. My personal favourite is Kimi Raikonen (vodka with lemon grass).As for food, you don't have to be a big fan of Scandinavian food to enjoy dining in FINDS. Their dishes are EXECELLENT! The fact that their Finnish chef Jakoo came to our table to explain us the dishes really made our ni

As for food, you don't have to be a big fan of Scandinavian food to enjoy dining in FINDS. Their dishes are EXECELLENT! The fact that their Finnish chef Jakoo came to our table to explain us the dishes really made our night. He's a real kitchen genuis!

I feel bad for the other diners who had bad experiences in FINDS. The food is absolutely amazing (at least to me), then of course, if you order only 1 course without matching it with wine... you won't be impressed in any restaurants.

We were also made to order the 'expensive water', but isn't it within your expectation when you enter a fine dining restaurant? I would never allow myself to taste such fine cuisine with tap water.

To my observation, FINDS is the only place that has been standing since its opening in the LKF tower. I believe they're successful for some reasons!!
