This place was near empty at 3pm. They don't have a tea set, but the lunch set is still valid at this time. The restaurant has many long tables set up, and there is plenty of space in between tables. There is a lingering smell of deep fried oil, but the place has a high ceiling and enough ventilation to account for it. I ordered the Dumpling and Rice Cake Soup ($55) with an iced milk tea (+$5). I ordered the Dumpling and Rice Cake Soup ($55) with an iced milk tea (+$5). The dumplings in the menu picture were big, round-shaped korean mandu. What came out were small dumplings that looked and tasted like frozen gyoza. It was hugely disappointing because I was especially wanting to try the big dumplings shown in the picture, and it was really the single reason that I came here for. The soup was watery, and although the rice cakes were cooked well, it was not nearly enough to save the dish. The best thing here was the free kimchi and iced milk tea, which was average anyway.
I'm not sure if I'll give this place another try. But I'll never order the dumplings again.
