是次晚餐的訂位是透過TABLE MAP而訂的, 不錯, 簡單易用位於雲咸街的La Perouse Restaurant Bar & Lounge對於在IFC 的我來說有一點點遠, 沿半山扶梯上去, 大概也要個15分鐘我們依時到達餐廳, 差不多六點半, 人不多, 餐廳環境不錯食物不算便宜, 但味道不錯先來一個面包籃兩款不同的面包, 烘得微熱, 配OLIVE OIL 黑醋吃 頭盤龍蝦海鮮拼盤龍蝦鮮甜有彈性很好吃, 翡翠螺和藍青口新鮮, 沒沙因為不太愛吃生蠔, 所以沒有試, 朋友說不錯主菜鵝肝肉眼扖鵝肝煎得不錯, 外脆內軟, 好吃肉眼扖要了五成熟, 可是煮過熟了, 只有些粉紅, 肉汁仍有但不多大蝦天使面大蝦煎得稍稍過了, 有點乾天使面一般般, 就是正常味道吧~這道菜沒什麼驚喜三個人吃的晚餐, 還有一個沙拉, 忘記拍了, 份量挺大的, 味道不錯點了兩瓶白酒, 好像250左右一瓶

天使面一般般, 就是正常味道吧~

這道菜沒什麼驚喜

三個人吃的晚餐, 還有一個沙拉, 忘記拍了, 份量挺大的, 味道不錯
點了兩瓶白酒, 好像250左右一瓶

We had a joint birthday party at La Perouse last Friday night with well over 60 people. The owner sectioned off a part of the outdoor lounge / terrace for us so that we could have ultimate privacy. The atmosphere was just perfect - chilled, candlelit and with great music at just the right volume so that our guests can mingle. We had a joint birthday party at La Perouse last Friday night with well over 60 people. The owner sectioned off a part of the outdoor lounge / terrace for us so that we could have ultimate privacy.

The atmosphere was just perfect - chilled, candlelit and with great music at just the right volume so that our guests can mingle. The drinks menu was quite comprehensive - the cocktails were delicious (especially the bellinis) and bar snacks were delicious and both were reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the wedges - they were crunchy, greasy and oh-so-good!! Goes perfectly with alcohol. The pizzas were also very yummy (go for the mushroom pizza!) and exceeded our expectations given the quality and taste of the normal menu snacks you get at other bars.

The staff were also very helpful in meeting our every request from cake cutting to topping up food and alcohol.

The restaurant and bar gets quite a good vibe on Friday nights as it is busy but chilled and definitely not "crowded". Many of my guests complimented on the great choice of venue and I would not hesitate to recommend this place as one of the best venues in town to host a party. And a heartfelt thanks to the owner of the bar, Simon - thank you for making our night smooth running and a memorable one!!

環境不錯,雖然這店位於商業大廈5樓,但走出露台就可以看到一大片天空,還可以看到對面的舊式警署建築。露台座位感覺好像比室內更寬敞,走了這麼多站,難得有個輕鬆一點的地方可以休息一下,就在此多留了一會曬曬太陽。 燒烤大蝦不錯,大大隻的海蝦烤過後更帶鮮香,蝦肉肥美而且有咬口,只是調味有點止於表面,如果再入肉一點就好了。大概是酒喝多了,吃東西也要求濃味點吧 烤牛肉粒實在是有點令人失望,煮得過熟,咬起來很韌,口感不是太好。老實說好久沒吃到要咬得這麼費力的牛肉…吃了一小舊就放棄了。可能今天人流較多,餐廳沒法每小碟都精雕細琢地處理…但好好的牛肉,over-done了真的很可惜。用token來計這2個set算是便宜,但在今天的event中,這間在食物方物相對較失色,倒是那澳洲葡萄酒還算不錯,配合那餐廳選址,是有挽回一點分數的。 如果只是想來小喝兩杯,那可以考慮在晴朗的一天來這招頭欣賞一下香港難得的完整一片式天空

燒烤大蝦不錯,大大隻的海蝦烤過後更帶鮮香,蝦肉肥美而且有咬口,只是調味有點止於表面,如果再入肉一點就好了。大概是酒喝多了,吃東西也要求濃味點吧

烤牛肉粒實在是有點令人失望,煮得過熟,咬起來很韌,口感不是太好。老實說好久沒吃到要咬得這麼費力的牛肉…吃了一小舊就放棄了。可能今天人流較多,餐廳沒法每小碟都精雕細琢地處理…但好好的牛肉,over-done了真的很可惜。

用token來計這2個set算是便宜,但在今天的event中,這間在食物方物相對較失色,倒是那澳洲葡萄酒還算不錯,配合那餐廳選址,是有挽回一點分數的。

晚上還有飯局,最後決定到這個這個店就完成這個A Taste of LKF試食之旅了因為好多人都有太多的Token人很多,每一枱都有很多食物(反正不用就浪費了吧)Token太多,我們各點了2份,好有趣是,送酒來是來了2杯,侍應說沒有杯酒給了我們2份,哈哈,不要緊了,都是嘗2口就足夠了,最後一半也沒有完成蝦還是不錯,大大隻,我們各吃了2隻都算彈牙,但牛肉很難吃,求其得很!份量少我不太介意,畢竟成本不低,但牛肉煮得不好是很致命的,不知道該怎麼說,但真的不好吃

蝦還是不錯,大大隻,我們各吃了2隻都算彈牙,但牛肉很難吃,求其得很!份量少我不太介意,畢竟成本不低,但牛肉煮得不好是很致命的,不知道該怎麼說,但真的不好吃

三月下旬‧晴是a taste of LKF的第五站,來了這間在蘭桂坊最邊皮的店子。環境還不算怎樣,至少有位可坐,但空調不太足,很熱。一味檸檬蒜頭蝦都頗好吃,沒有太多的調味,但鮮甜兼爽口好吃。加一杯Shiraz-Cabernet也只需要兩張飛,抵吃。

是a taste of LKF的第五站,來了這間在蘭桂坊最邊皮的店子。

環境還不算怎樣,至少有位可坐,但空調不太足,很熱。

一味檸檬蒜頭蝦都頗好吃,沒有太多的調味,但鮮甜兼爽口好吃。

加一杯Shiraz-Cabernet也只需要兩張飛,抵吃。

主菜點了一客意粉,Sea Urchin Scallop Linguine,$158,熱烘烘的意粉傳出陣陣忌廉香。鋪面的海膽,於意粉的熱力下烘得帶點微溫,入口軟綿綿的,於口中散開,但鮮甜度不太高,幸好沒有腥味。帶子卻比海膽來得好吃,入口爽甜,沒有煮得過火而變得韌口。意粉口感帶點韌性,煙韌度可再多一點更合心意,每口意粉配上香濃的忍廉汁及蘑菇粒,蘑菇粒份量還不少,吃得我們很滿足。

掙扎吃甜品與否,因午餐才吃了一件朱古力蛋糕,最後還是抵受不了心太軟的誘惑,點了一客。等了大概二十分鐘,令人期待的心太軟送來。怎麼了?心太軟已經裂開,內裡的朱古力漿已經從裂口中流了出來,未能親手把心太軟破開叫人有點失望。失望同時,想一想,這心太軟應該伴上一球雪糕,但竟然沒有,待應於是把心太軟遞回廚房,加上一球雲尼拿雪糕。等候加回雪糕時間亦不短,我在想,我的心太軟是否已變成了心太硬?終於可以動口吃,朱古力漿很稀,可可味薄弱得快嚐不出來,蛋糕口感更令人沒法接受,外層不脆身已經不再計較,內裡蛋糕又乾又硬,只吃到麵粉味,是難吃的心太軟。

整體而言,食物不算很特別,質素平平,但甜品心太軟的確難吃得沒法接受,食物質素未能令人有想回頭吃的意慾。中環這一帶的餐廳很多,看來要留住客人的心,餐廳也要多花點心思吧。

SIMON是個年青的小伙子,一口流利英語,想不到,竟然對酒那麼有研究,還要是一家餐廳的東主,厲害厲害!

店主解釋,這家店供應法國及澳洲菜及酒,原來在其店名就透露了玄機.
LA PEROUSE 是第一個登陸澳洲的法國船長.
網上查了一下,原來這也是澳洲悉尼的一個十分漂亮的海岸,真的有雙重意義呢!

店方為我們是次活動準備的第四度菜,是GRILLED BABY LAMB CHOPS,並用了羊的好朋友--ROEMARY,加上醋做汁...

羊仔架十分嫩,內裏還有豐富肉汁,配上微酸的醋汁,讓人十分開胃.
不消一會,事前巳吃了3個菜的公關,巳經把兩件羊架全部掃光..
唯一覺得,羊不是很膻,個人比較喜歡膻一點的,不過,人人愛好不尽相同,這個就看你自己的愛好了.

至於配菜也是十分用心,雖然是簡單的薯仔和小紅蘿蔔,卻十分入味,也都全部被我掃清,可能是喝得酒比較多吧,今晚吃得也特別多呢!

店主很用心地事前巳把酒抖了兩個鐘氣,一入口,果和布冧味很重,丹寧亦比較柔和,十分適合不大喜歡苦澀味的女士,容易入口,當然配這種不是很膻的羊肉,是十分適合,誰也搶不了誰的風頭.

大會公關說,SIMON開這家店開張不久,純粹是因為個人對酒的愛好,有心的店主,絕對值得支持,希望這小店愈做愈好吧.加油!

Fourth course: Grilled Baby Lamb Chops served with pan fried potato slices and baby carrots in rich rosemary gravy and vinegar sauce
The chop had a nice 'charcoal' smell and the meat was roasted just for the right time, and had a beautiful pink color, an awfully lot of juices as well.

The slightly sour vinegar and red wine dressing gave the meat another dimensional, and I especially love the slices of potatoes - they were one of the most mushy and flavorful potatoes I have had lately!

Booked this place for valentines day because i usually come here for lunch and i picked up their valentines day menu. Booked this place for valentines day because i usually come here for lunch and i picked up their valentines day menu. The menu was very appealing so decided not to look for anywhere else for this special day. The atmosphere was presented very well and made it a perfect date. A champagne upon arrival and a share place to begin. The Goose liver mousse was outstanding!! Then we had the lobster bisque which was really rich in flavour followed by a soft shell crab salad which was served with a kiwi grapefruit sauce which was something quite different from other restaurants. The other entree was salmon tartar which was just average. The main was served in very large portion. We had the beef tenderloin and lamb shank and it was so much we couldnt finish it. Again, their sauce served with the main was quite special which is different from other places which i find quite enjoyable. The most facinating thing is their mixed vegetables is cut in shapes of hearts which i thought was really thoughtful!

To finish off we had the pana cotta and the warm chocolate pudding which was done perfectly. I thought it was the end of the meal after so much food but we finished with a strawberry dipped chocolate which had "love" written on it with chocolate. Again very thoughtful! I think this place is very creative and everything was well presented.

last week was my boyfriend's birthday, so i planned to celebrate with him at a nice restarant.i booked the table a week earlier, and when we arrived at the restaurant, we found they have a huge balcony/open area which is a great to enjoy a relaxing meal.surely, we can smoke there.we ordered four dishes.first we had Bruschetta, which has fresh tomato with Pesto. it's simple and fresh, which is good for starter.the next one is foie gras, with their special La Perouse Sauce, ( all restaurants have

last week was my boyfriend's birthday, so i planned to celebrate with him at a nice restarant.
i booked the table a week earlier, and when we arrived at the restaurant, we found they have a huge balcony/open area which is a great to enjoy a relaxing meal.
surely, we can smoke there.
we ordered four dishes.
first we had Bruschetta, which has fresh tomato with Pesto. it's simple and fresh, which is good for starter.

as we are not big carnivores, so we picked scallop with squid ink pasta and a black truffle risotto

the rice smelled so nice,but it was quite hard, so we asked them to make it a bit softer. after that, it's way more delicious!!!!!
(they said risotto is a bit hard for normal, but i wanted it a little softer)

this squid ink pasta is my favorite, it looks simple, but i will never forget about the sauce: rich and tasty. and the scallops were sweet and fresh. very well-made.
when we finished all our dishes, the manager gave us a free dessert, because i have told them i wanted to celebrate with someone upon a special occasion when i booked the table, hahahahaha~~!!!!
that really made the atmosphere happier and more enjoyable, while playing the lovely birthday song.
i would recommend this place to my friends, because we had a really great time there.

taste : 4 points, the food are really fantastic, but i believe there are always better.
place: 5 points, the place is really very nice and with good atmosphere. (i know i will be asking for the outdoor area next time when i call in for a booking)
service: 5 points, the waitress there was sweet and caring. (bringing new forks and knifes for us in between dishes and toothy smiles all the way through, well....we smiled a lot too)
hygiene : 4 points, the dishes are decent-looking and fresh enough, but the ladies room was not clean enough, could be better.
price : 3 points, everything is perfect, but as a customer, we always want cheaper, if there are some coupons or membership and offers discount, now that's perfect.
good for celebration, business meal, and romantic dinner (dating)

「好事多磨,一改再改」,正是這次飯局的寫照。本與舊同事相約在銅鑼灣某餐廳聚舊,惜被好些突發事件影響,以致聚會一拖再拖,最後竟然連先前選定的餐廳也倒閉了。為方便舊同事下班後赴會,特意在蘭桂坊一帶選取晚餐地點。在OpenRice搜尋了一會,發現在前中區警署附近,一家樓上酒廊餐廳獲好些朋友的好評,遂決心一試。La Perouse Restaurant, Bar & Lounge以18世紀登陸澳洲的法國航海家拉佩魯茲伯爵(Jean-Francois de Galaup)為命,低調地告訴客人此店供應法國和澳洲精品葡萄酒的特色。餐廳所處的商業大廈正在進行翻新工程,對顧客來說稍有不便,還幸工程差不多已屆完成階段,所以問題不大。一打開電梯門口,通過短窄的走廊進入餐廳內,發現店子其實不大約有30個座位,外面卻有一個可容納50人的大露台。當晚天朗氣清,可見清晰的月亮高掛空中。如果中秋當晚來賞月的話,這裏該是一個理想的賞月地點。其實來訪之前,已先致電問過詳情,知道這裏晚上不設Set Dinner,但客人可以自定Budget,由廚師按預算設計晚餐。問過店方職員,知道這裏的晚餐消費,約為每位$280-$380,

其實來訪之前,已先致電問過詳情,知道這裏晚上不設Set Dinner,但客人可以自定Budget,由廚師按預算設計晚餐。問過店方職員,知道這裏的晚餐消費,約為每位$280-$380,遂於訂檯時說好當晚Budget約為每位$300。此店有一個頗令我欣賞的安排 — 廚師擬訂餐單之後,會由職員電郵給客人過目,有需要的話再作更改。當晚的菜式為: 忌廉野菌湯、鵝肝釀鴨胸卷沙律 / 新鮮吞拿魚沙律、燒春雞 / 燒澳洲鱸魚及是日甜品和餐飲,單看菜名已覺吸引。

未上前菜,先來一個內有3款選擇的麵包籃。麵包應該是來貨,雖然經翻熱後令麵包變暖變脆,但吃起來有種不太新鮮的感覺,3款麵包當中以法包最不新鮮,麵包脆條的質素還可以,只有那款南瓜籽葡萄乾麵包最好吃。此包內裏滿佈脆脆的南瓜籽,軟軟的葡萄乾也下得不少,令平淡的麵包帶點脆脆和酸甜的口感,令人愛不釋「口」。

忌廉野菌湯有著非常濃郁的菇菌香味,看得出放了大量菇菌攪碎煮成,所以湯汁稠濃味道適中,然而忌廉的味道卻被濃郁的菇菌香味完全蓋過,喝起來也不夠滑,以致難以令我對之產生深刻印象。

難得店方用「新鮮」而非罐頭吞拿魚做沙律,就是這點已叫我暗喜。此沙律的賣相是滿討人喜愛的,略帶透明的紅色吞拿魚肉,外層沾上香料將四面略煎,令魚肉四邊稍呈金黃色,更在每塊魚肉掃上一層薄薄的橄欖油,令外觀更見晶瑩。吃起來覺得魚肉很滑,不過魚味薄弱。沙律菜方面卻是頗新鮮的,而且經過瀝乾水份,擺碟也見心思,可知製作絕不馬虎。

全晚最令我驚喜的是鵝肝釀鴨胸卷沙律,無論鵝肝或鴨胸都做得很鮮美幼滑,鴨胸雖帶脂肪,但絕無肥膩的感覺。神來之筆是那個以Port 酒所做的沙律汁,葡萄味很香很甜,而汁的質感是稠稠的,比較容易掛在食材的表面,好想多吃,多吃,再多吃!

兩大塊肉質豐厚,而炸至金黃色的燒春雞有點過熟,所以吃起來不夠肉汁不夠滑,但味道是不錯的,另外也很欣賞炸雞皮那種誘人的脂肪香味。伴碟的大塊薯仔經「走油」後香味盡釋,而薯肉本身又帶點甜味,不錯,不錯。

很欣賞這道菜的顏色配搭,嫩黃、金黃、淺綠和深綠,未吃前先來個悅人眼目。難得這裏的鱸魚煎得不錯,肉質潤滑還能保持魚肉的香味,魚皮煎得很脆,但略嫌魚肉不夠厚,然而放在魚肉下面的薯蓉卻嫌過多,吃起來有點像用粉開成的薯蓉,只有甜味和牛油味卻不太嚐到薯味。

甜品是做得頗精緻的Chocolate Brownie 伴朱古力雪糕。4顆比骰子稍大的Chocolate Brownie,外層很脆,吃起來有點像心太軟的外皮,味道微甜,可惜朱古力味不夠濃,然而那球半溶的朱古力雪糕卻有濃香的朱古力味,算是一點補償,一冷一熱有著所謂的層次感。

餐廳的女侍應服務很貼心,主動為我們添水和多拿一份餐具作分享食物之用。當晚的客人很少,很享受這種靜靜的用餐環境。

my friends and i reserved a room for 17 people to watch the World Cup. upon arriving, our room was not ready and it was 15 minutes till the start of the match. they had seated a table of 4 in our reserved room so we had to wait 10 minutes for them to finish their appetizers before we were seated. the staff was quite rude the entire night, no apology for making us wait and not even enough chairs for all of us to sit. in addition, we were not allowed to section off our reserved area even thoug

they charged $120 which included two drinks, however, if you order hoegaarden, you get a very small glass instead of the usual regular size glass, what a rip off.

i wouldn't recommend this place to any local or expats, it's just plain poor service, there are plenty of other choices in the LKF area to visit.

睇完飲食男女介紹之後嚟試,我地一行4個女仔上到嚟,好多野想試,但又唔知試咩好,於是問下個待應,結果佢特別推介两個意粉同羊,令外仲叫多左3個頭盤, 凱撒雞沙律,鵝肝,同吞拿魚沙律!!!首先講下個雞沙律,正正常常,無咩特別,但都好食嘅!!而個吞拿魚沙律就唔錯,幾好味,做到頭盤開胃嘅效果!!到個鵝肝,外脆內軟,好好食,正,個汁仲好得意,好特別,所以叫多左份!!到D意粉,一個係白汁蚧肉帶子意粉,白汁好creamy,但一啲都唔漏,粒帶子又鮮,又香,同好多蚧肉,唔同出面果D,食少少就漏到唔想食,總之一個字,正!!!到個龍蝦汁大蝦意粉,個汁好重龍蝦味,隻蝦好大,又鮮又爽,又係一個字,正!!!我覺得呢到啲意粉好有水準,直頭拍得住cafe landmark!!!到個羊勒,食落有羊味,但唔so,唔錯,我鐘意,而且個皮脆嫁....勁正!!!但如果鐘意食so嘅朋友就未必啱.......最後呢餐飽到食唔落甜品,哈.....呢餐唔錯,幾好,個露台又大,可以食食下出去頭下氣食下煙,露台又有mtv睇,仲好鬼死大個screen添,值得encore........

到個龍蝦汁大蝦意粉,個汁好重龍蝦味,隻蝦好大,又鮮又爽,又係一個字,正!!!我覺得呢到啲意粉好有水準,直頭拍得住cafe landmark!!!

到個羊勒,食落有羊味,但唔so,唔錯,我鐘意,而且個皮脆嫁....勁正!!!但如果鐘意食so嘅朋友就未必啱.......

最後呢餐飽到食唔落甜品,哈.....

l always look for a new place to try in LKF area, and Sudden weekly just introduced this restaurant last week, the restaurant looks pretty good in the magazine, so just try try with bf^^overall ok, nice outdoor area, not expensive, and they have 5 choices in lunch sets...l ordered a soup and mango prawn saland, the saland looked like a dessert, very beautiful, fresh prawn and mango, a very good choice of "keep fit menu' for all laides, and the mushroom soup was good too, heavy mashroom taste...

overall ok, nice outdoor area, not expensive, and they have 5 choices in lunch sets...l ordered a soup and mango prawn saland, the saland looked like a dessert, very beautiful, fresh prawn and mango, a very good choice of "keep fit menu' for all laides, and the mushroom soup was good too, heavy mashroom taste....
my bf ordered a soup and steak, crazy, had steak during lunch....but l didnt taste it, because l dont eat beef.....so l cant write any comment here....but my bf said it was good too.....especially the cravy sauce......anyway, a new place for me to have lunch ^^
