Been there on the first working day after CNY for dinner. Pretty quiet and the service was quite attentive. White wine and Cava by glass was not bad, but the selection of bubbly by glass was interesting - either HKD100+ Cava or close to HKD400 Krug. Tapas selection was quite limited and the quality was, well, controversial. The chorizo and croquetas were delicious and very good value. However, the 'Hokkaido scallops', at HKD180 per piece, was not much better than the frozen ones from supermarket. The garlic shrimp was even worse. Leftover stuffs from last (lunar) year?

Quite disappointed, probably I went there on a wrong day.

揀咗呢兩支西班牙紅酒,配tapas抵飲。


新開的餐廳還有許多地方值得系統性地改進。


首先,啲tapas一齊來得太快,幾個幾個一齊上,我同server講希望可以hold住慢慢來,點知仲未開始食,連西班牙海鮮飯都一起上埋。可能我地來的時段餐廳比較空閒,所以廚房落單比較快,但我覺得server可以等客人食到差唔多先fire main course。如果唔係,咁下次只可以食完一個再order下一個。


其次,相對西班牙本土的tapas,這裡的食物份量相當大份,IFC的租金也不算平,呢個價位算是比較抵食。其實皮皮以前係西班牙當地食嘅所謂tapas,食物的portion都比較細份,所以兩個人可以order好多唔同食物送酒。但經過一晚上的觀察,這裡的大部分客人消費水平不高,大多數只是order小小嘢食但坐好耐,唔知係咪同食物太大portion有關,這只是我的猜測。


另外,可能因為係禮拜三,餐廳人手唔夠,連埋幾個經理得6、7個人,感覺有啲忙碌。如果有足夠人手,經理可以試下同客人簡單傾幾句,對新餐廳來講有feedback可以進步得更快。


其實,如果係街邊餐廳已經做得很好,但駐店在大中環IFC裡面,客人會有更加多的期待,如果以上意見有機會被店家關注到的話
Anyway,希望店家能維持食物的水準,身為西班牙食物的忠實粉絲,皮皮還是很希望以後能常來的

一連串的晚餐約會,今次選中了位於中環地標的意大利餐廳。入到去,浪漫的燈光,加上輕快的音樂,未食已經心理放鬆下來。坐了在窗邊的位置,由於天氣好,望到好清楚的維港,很美。打開餐牌,發覺以中環來說,不算貴。叫了手切西班牙火腿,一整碟的肉色夠紅,帶少少fat ,80分!razor clams 的調味出色,但不免有一點點不是100%新鮮如西貢海鮮餐廳。另外叫了蕃茄芝士查麵包,蕃茄味幾清新,芝士可以再濃一點味道,上枱熱熱地幾好食。主食我地點了西班牙海鮮燉飯,上邊是法國龍蝦,新鮮蜆肉同埋墨魚,全部都好新鮮好味。特別是飯粒,吸收所有海鮮嘅鮮味,味道濃郁香口,非常好食。買單千幾蚊,可以講係物有所值。有機會試下此餐廳吧!

上週朋友介紹來這裡吃,因我們都非常喜歡地中海菜式。有一道甜品是西班牙油條,十分新穎,是即炸的,之後配以肉桂砂糖和香草,焦糖牛奶,朱古力及奶油,是非常好味的甜品,據說屬於傳統西班牙小食。西班牙小菜的選擇非常多,冷熱都有。我們又叫了蒜頭炒蝦和法式半熟的鵝肝,加上維港靚景,十分好評。

一間 充滿藝術氣息的 的餐廳,除了 可以欣賞西班牙畫家的作品外,更可以欣賞 窗外的海境,食物也很精緻魚子醬伴聖子和 黑松露巴馬火腿三文治最值得推介!💋聖子很新鮮,而且鮮甜,再配上新鮮酸甜醬汁和洋蔥,更能突顯味道!而且很開胃😛三文治外層 烘得 很香脆,鮮鹹的火腿,配上黑松露醬 令人想吃完一口再一口!❤️👍🏼全隻燒乳豬,乳豬肉很鮮嫩, 而且外脆內軟,連骨頭也軟到可以吃!不過感覺醬汁不太搭配,個人應為酸甜的BBQ醬比較配合墨汁海鮮焗飯,墨魚飯比較 重味道,配合洋蔥 味道甜甜的不錯,不過有朋友就因為味道太甜!cilindro de chocolate,裏面的cream 是焦糖味,配合朱古力 喜歡吃甜的朋友應該會覺得不錯👌Baba au sake,我個人認為這個太甜,就像蛋黃蛋糕還要加糖醬一樣!我個人比較喜歡吃淡一些 所以不太喜歡這個甜品🤔Anyway 整體這間餐廳還是不錯的!位置位ifc 連卡佛門口,右就是了,位置不難找,在中環上班的朋友也可以試試哦😛

Baba au sake,我個人認為這個太甜,就像蛋黃蛋糕還要加糖醬一樣!我個人比較喜歡吃淡一些 所以不太喜歡這個甜品🤔
Anyway 整體這間餐廳還是不錯的!

位置位ifc 連卡佛門口,右就是了,位置不難找,在中環上班的朋友也可以試試哦😛

Lunch at La Rambla is a semi-buffet affair (unless you choose onion soup over chef Ferran Tadeo's "appetizer spread") where one will find some of the finest Catalan classics including bread, salad, Iberico ham, cheese and various kinds of anchovies.

For my main course, I had a choice between pan-fried monkfish, sautéed red prawn, grilled tenderloin and Spanish paella. And I went with the traditionally cooked paella.

The paella was served on a sizzling hot pan, with pieces of calamari rings on top. Initially, I was curious in how they worked their magic with paella and Hokkaido scallop together. Would there be something innovative in play? Now, I know~

I thought the paella was seriously good (but the one at now-defunct Numero 15 was better) but I was a little disappointed to see that the Hokkaido scallop was simply cooked with olive oil and garlic chip on top of the rice. I guess I was expecting too much from something that was meant to be simple yet tasty.

I felt like I have just put on a few pounds after this meal. The appetizer bar was definitely the highlight of the meal and the paella was fairly decent. Now, I better spend some time to walk off my belly fat. Perhaps running around this space station could do the trick for me.

新開西班牙菜,去試下先,兩人點了三道菜,點了兩款tapas , 是侍應特別推介,但原來兩款tapas 都是冷盤 1)牛油果龍蝦卷,on top 有些三文魚子和魚子醬配ponzu(橙子)汁,整體覺得好鹹,搶了龍蝦的味道,這些食材有些不夾。2) 聖子配上青蘋果,ponzu橙子)汁和點子醬,這款tapas 與前者味道相似,所以如果想試凍既tapas , 我會建議這個,這個較鮮甜,同埋平通比較少見到用聖子做冷盤。主食當然點了西班牙必吃的菜式Paella (西班牙海鮮飯)味道不錯,海鮮尚算新鮮,但吃了一半便很快凍了,Paella 有兩個size , regular 和 large , 其實regular 只足夠二人食,蝦只有兩隻。總括這間是fashion 西班牙菜, 菜式擺盤很用心,環境也算不錯,還有outdoor , 那晚都不算full house, 但可能樓底比較矮,所以比較嘈吵,我與朋友都要越講越大聲先可以但整體分量真的比較少,味道不是特別出色!剛剛開業,尚有進步的空間!

这家店的烤乳猪超级好吃,上菜是端上来直接半只烤好的乳猪。皮脆肉嫩,入口即化。加拿大龙虾海鲜饭也不错,饭的感觉不那么生,但是略微有点咸。牛肉海胆塔塔建议一定要试试!

A friend told me that Catalunya opened a new Spanish restaurant in IFC and I knew we had to try it!As dedicated seafood lovers we went for a seafood themed selection of tapas.First to arrive were the razor clams. Super fresh and conveniently cut up into bite sized pieces.Had no idea what to expect, but loved the fried small shrimps! We all ended up using our hands to eat this. I always order this dish whenever I have tapas. Not bad, but not the best I've had. The potatoes were a little bland, it needed oil and seasoning.

Next were the Hokkaido scallops. These were amazing, so fresh and so light. Just some oil and a little kick of spice, highly recommended. We ordered 2 of these

Next, the main dish... Paella! the lobsters were definitely fresh, I saw them alive and jumping around when I went to check the seafood selection. Not bad, but a little too tomato-saucey for my personal taste. Also wish there were more crisp to the edges of the rice, since the best part of paellas is eating the crispy rice bottom!!

We were too full at this point so could only order one dessert... and did not regret our choice. This was an excellent ending to a fantastic dinner.

All the seafood was fresh, and sourced from all over the world, the best of the best locations. I also recommend having a glass of Cava to go with the meal!

The grand total for our meal was $1,898 HKD.
