My view towards Eric Kayser changed today.  The raisin bread is one of the breads which I buy often, I like the crusty exterior and the pack full of raisin on the inside, so I do know this bread.  At $25 for a bread the size of my palm, it is not cheap.My raisin bread today is so stale that I can assure you this is not made today.  If you have to charge premium price, you do need to have an impeccable quality control.  The bread I bought today is disappointing and have turned me completely off,

I have been meaning to try Eric's for some time now as Maison Kayser is highly regarded and has outstanding reputation as a boulangerie. On this day I finally had the opportunity. When I walked in and I felt like a kid in a candy store with the decent choice of bread/pastries. Brownie真係唔錯 本身好鍾意dark chocolate, 這個夠dark之餘不會乾。面頭有nuts，口感更好👍Vanilla latte唔會太甜，幾香。😋

其實我對碳水化合物食物真係唔好，不過如要從粥粉麵飯類別人揀選的話，我首選一定係麵包，不過只限冇餡而又煙韌的包我就最愛！呢間Maison Eric Kayser真的有好多好多款式都好好食，夠煙韌也夠柔軟度且芳香，之前去開尖沙咀首店，呢次就試試分店有冇唔同。意大利包 Italian Ciabatta ($18) 麵包的皮脆脆的，雖然冇乜味，但蜂窩狀的麵包心鬆軟可口，水份完全充足，Good !朱古力維也納包 Viennese Chocolate Bread ($18) 麵包外表乾身，但皮脆肉軟，內外都有黑朱古力，都幾好𡁻，朱古力味也不錯。蘋果酥 Apple Pie ($20) 形狀幾靚，外表微燶感覺好香脆，雖然切落去已經淋左，不過中間夾著大量蘋果茸，香甜配咖啡一流。意大利橄欖包 Italian olive bread ($22) 見橄欖包新鮮出爐香香的，買！質感與意大利包一樣，裡面有大量橄欖粒，好食好𡁻，相信唔鍾意原粒食橄欖的都會鍾意呢個包。 

今早到灣仔辦點事，經過Eric Kayser, 入內吃個快速早餐。一看牆上餐牌，發現croissant 加咖啡，只賣$32。二話不説，馬上點了一客。牛角包是即奉上，熱咖啡隨後有人送來。Croissant頗大隻，酥脆可口，如果可以加熱更好。8/10咖啡夠熱，不算很香濃，但又不會帶酸。是細杯了一點點，但早上不想吃大飽，份量剛好。6/10以$32法式牛角包，加熱咖啡，性價比超高。$32在Starbucks 連咖啡也不夠買，如果在DeliFrance買個牛角包都要十多元，所以作為精明消費者，真的要慎選啊！

I went there at 1:30pm and ordered a lunch set ($56).  I chose a signature sandwiches(+$16) - Sour dough with salmon, lettuce and cream cheese.  Since I did not like soft drink, I chose latte (+$10).  The total cost added up to $82.The sandwiches, though called signature, was not special and was disappointing.  The bread was not heated up, and the bread was rather hard to chew.  Only little cream cheese was given, and the taste of the whole sandwiches was very plain and was not outstanding.  I w

Maison Eric Kayser 和 Passion by Gerard Dubois 的麵包和法式酥皮飽同樣都是我的心頭好，可惜的是 Maison Eric Kayser 的幾間分店都不在我週日時常出沒的地區，平常一至五想幫襯絕不是易事。不過最近終於收到好消息，Maison Eric Kayser 的第四間分店已在灣仔皇后大道中的 248 正式投入服務。小店面積雖然小，但出名的法飽以至簡單的輕食都應有盡有，在附近上班的朋友真有口福了！這裡的 eclair 向來最出色，但今日如常地趕時間，所以只買了eclair 以外最喜歡的白朱古力夏威夷果仁曲奇邊行邊吃。今日這款曲奇餅比平常硬了一點，雖然夏威夷果仁夠足料，但味道不及在海港城那邊的新鮮。繼鄰近新店 OVO cafe 之後，灣仔區又一優閑好選擇。
