This is a new cafe around my client's office. I was attracted by its simple renovation and mediterranean menu. So my colleague and I sat down, and find if there is any "Chef recommends" or "Signature". Oh God! We only find "V" (Vegetarin" & "GF" (Gluten Free), what a nightmare for a meat lover, it is a vegetarin restaurant! However, we are open to try NEW! From starters to dessets,  these dishes were surprisingly GOOD and TASTY!!**Lovely vegetarian cuisine, must try other dishes next time!!

整整一個星期沒有回家吃飯,難得這餐由我選餐廳,當然要吃得健康。來到灣仔的月街,很喜歡這一帶,位於市區,卻靜靜的,有種遠離繁囂的奢侈,最重要是有很多特色小餐館。繼上次到Spoil Cafe吃了頓出色的晚餐後,這次來到Maya Cafe。跟Spoil Cafe一樣,也是很小的店,狹窄得有點兒逼。幸好,店內的裝飾,配合柔合的燈光,把氣氛變得平和、愜意,狹窄反變成親切。燈飾更添上地中海風情。有晚餐供應,有前菜、主菜、甜品和飲品。是日的餐湯是蕃茄湯。新鮮蕃茄煮成的濃湯,十分稠,香草味濃。Mezze PlatterHummous, babaganoush, lebanese salad, cheese, olives and multigrain bread很豐富。每一款都不錯,味道天然。Hummous配上黑芝麻,茄子蓉配上白芝麻,賣相加分之外,出色的味道之上,更增一份芝麻香。沙律中的橄㰖又大又肥,吃畢口裡留下一陣橄㰖香。還有自家製的芝麻醬,十分香口。Baked ratatouille with feta cheeseEggplants, zucchini, bellpeppers and tom

Hummous, babaganoush, lebanese salad, cheese, olives and multigrain bread
很豐富。每一款都不錯,味道天然。Hummous配上黑芝麻,茄子蓉配上白芝麻,賣相加分之外,出色的味道之上,更增一份芝麻香。沙律中的橄㰖又大又肥,吃畢口裡留下一陣橄㰖香。還有自家製的芝麻醬,十分香口。

Baked ratatouille with feta cheese
Eggplants, zucchini, bellpeppers and tomatoes in mediterranean spices served with organic brown rice and a side green salad
這個法式的蔬菜大雜燴,蕃茄味特別香濃,除了香草,還加了feta cheese,添上一陣咸咸的奶香,是最天然的調味。糙米粒粒豐滿,很有飯香,十分彈牙。配上蕃茄汁,又是另一番滋味。還有混了橄㰖油的新鮮生菜,清新又爽脆。

Baked stuffed eggplants
Organic eggplants with stuffing made of mushrooms and sunflower seeds. The stuffing tastes like 'meat'! Served with fresh tomato sauce on a bed of organic brown rice and a side green salad
沒有留意兩款都是蕃茄汁底,要是店員可稍作提醒就更好,可以試試其他醬汁,cashew cream sauce也很吸引。幸好,焗茄子也沒有令人失望。茄子大得像個巨型蘑菇,直到切開的一刻都難以相信它是茄子。放在紅紅的茄肉之上,賣相很美。試過在家烤茄子,絕不容易。這個茄子卻沒有烤乾,夠軟又多汁。蘑菇碎和葵花籽碎混在一起,口感滑溜溜中帶點硬,很特別。蕃茄跟茄子很夾。鋪在底的糙米,吸盡蕃茄的精華,清新又有嚼勁。

晚餐的甜品可以在雪櫃裡自行選擇,款式都幾多。Brown rice pudding放在迷你casserole中,很可愛,但已吃了兩道糙米,還是選別的好了。Coffee trifle的賣相都不錯,還有chocolate mousse等等。最後,選了不太起眼的Chia seed pudding。

相信是最健康的選擇。被稱為超級食物的奇異子,營養極豐富,聽得多但吃還是第一次。吃得很飽,酸酸的布甸來得正合時宜,幾開胃。啖啖都是奇異子,西米的滑溜加上芝麻的一點一點,口感很特別。

很滿足的晚餐,每一道菜味道都很天然,運用簡單的素菜,做成如此不簡單的味道。跟中環的Life Cafe有點相似,比在上環試過的幾間素食店都要出色。

I finally found a good quality veggie cafe in Hong Kong. Freshly ingredients. You wont be disappointed.All time favorite upbeet juice (Beetroot, carrot, apple, celery and lemon)My favorite is Gazpacho (raw cold Spanish soup), it has textile, layer of veggie and a kick of spice. Vegetarian Lasagna (the best in Hong Kong)Finish up with Brown Rice pudding (gluten free) slow cooked brown rice and coconut milk, unrefined brown sugar. A good meal makes your rest of the day a happy day.Very pleased wit

為左慶祝男朋友生日, 佢話想食素, 其實生日食素真係一個唔錯既idea!唔好以為食素一定係中式, 於是上openrice搵搵有冇特別d素食餐廳~見到呢間位於月街的maya cafe環境不錯, 仲見到用table map訂檯仲有9折!由於當日同男友好晏先食lunch, 去到maya cafe都仲未餓~仲驚試唔到好多野!本來只係叫左2個main, 不過服務員推介招牌菜沙律, 於是就叫埋, 仲叫左1枝法國啤酒同埋1枝澳州cider.食物份量算多, 又好食, 可能係素食的關係, 雖然唔太肚餓都食得哂食. 加上環境舒適, 周邊十分清靜寫意~是一餐愉快的生日飯 <3

由於太多餐冇食菜,我地先點左個沙律Greek Salad with Feta Cheese($115),希臘沙律都幾多料,有車厘茄、青瓜片、洋蔥、紅燈籠椒。我都係第一次食沙律有紅燈籠椒,都幾好食!Feta Cheese係山羊奶芝士,軟軟地,又唔會太膩,少少咸,食多幾粒都唔覺太飽。至於沙律個sauce我估有及醋、檸檬汁同橄欖油。不過除左呢幾樣我估仲有其他香料,呢種味唔會喺出面食到,咸香開胃,有機會真的想請教下係咩汁呢!

Main點左($162),呢個係店員介紹的。薯仔波既外表只係微焗,唔會太燶,sauce有少少辣。橄欖原粒食有點重口味,所以我只係食左兩粒。有一大條芝士,好似配紅酒會正啲(不過我點左白酒)。兩小匙的沙律好精緻,九層塔的香味好出。豆腐賣相好好,同個sauce都好夾,不過好易夾散,可能整得太乾,中間的水份都抽走了。我覺得呢個main幾特別,睇得出用心工匠,不過sauce的口味就未必個個都岩啦。

因為驚唔夠飽(其實最後食唔哂...),叫左 Meatless Balls in rich tomato sauce + pasta ($168),Meatless Balls係冇肉既"肉丸",肉丸主要係用磨菇做,之後再用調味去令到佢似真正既肉丸,一咬開已經散散地,口感略嫌唔似肉。不過個味真係似豬肉!幾驚喜!而且磨菇都好香口。意粉有啲硬,蕃茄汁好開胃。

本來有啲擔心叫smoothie會太飽,因為smoothie都有啲厚既質感。但我見佢有咁多特別既組合決定要試下,所以男朋友揀左Revival($60),係芒果、檸檬、青瓜同香蕉打出黎既。一飲就飲得出香蕉味,吞左後會"回甘"青瓜既餘香。我最飲唔出芒果既味。呢個smoothie都幾驚喜,我有諗過佢係咁好飲!開頭以為呢個組合會怪怪的。同埋飲左佢有消化左好多既感覺!

我仲叫左杯白酒Del Veneto Pinot Grigio(Italy)($75),來自意大利的,我覺得不過不失啦。好似配沙律最好飲。

雖然最後我地食唔哂,因為上一餐太濟肚了,但我地都覺得食呢餐係冇錯既。因為真係好fresh!店員既service係非常之好!希望有機會再來!

果汁方面我們每人選了不同的,我的是橙色的celebration,以南瓜、蘋果和玉桂調製而成,味道不錯但不大能喝到玉桂味。

頭盤過後便到主食,這款Raw fettuccine in red walnut pesto sauce($162)用上翠玉瓜刨絲作麵條,醬汁加了紅椒和紅辣椒,輕輕的味跟翠玉瓜的清甜十分匹配。只是略嫌翠玉瓜麵太長且纏作一團,夾起來的時候不太方便。

另一款是熱食的Baked ratatouille($162),蕃茄、茄子、翠玉瓜和紅椒焗過後打成一片,上頭放了Feta cheese作點綴,吃下添了分鹹香。跟伴上的麥包味道也合拍,差點想舉手問店員能不能多添一片麵包。

慢慢吃慢慢聊,不知不覺便兩小時,不待我們選甜點,店主便已遞上給我們精選的幾款甜點。當中包括以腰果、杏仁、檸檬和椰子花蜜所製的Lemon ball,釀入了杏仁和椰子花蜜的棗子,及以香蕉乾、杏仁、椰子花蜜及椰子油造的Power ball。

Chia Pudding莓味酸甜可口,質地比一般的更凝固結實,像是慕絲一般,友人猜店把部分Chia seed打細令其給收更多水份。我也希望是如此,至少不是因為加了魚膠粉。

我比較喜歡的就是Raw Chocolate Mousse。軟滑而且可可味濃,猜是以可可粉、牛油果和香蕉打成。

店員服務好得沒處可彈,除了不住的主動加水,還因為看到我們在拍照而開白燈遷就我們。麻煩了他我們也覺得不好意思呢!餐廳晚上氣氛格外浪漫,昏昏黃黃的燈光,加上小碟菜式和小件甜點,又有餐酒供應,最適合情侶來拍拖談情。雖然定價不低,但如果另一半或身邊有朋友喜歡吃素和生機飲食,不妨來相約這裡試試。

首先我要利申,因為在不同時間對此餐廳寫了三篇食評了。只因每次吃的東西都很特別,才會寫了三篇。而且是因為此餐廳比較少食評,才這樣容易發現其中三篇的作者是同一人而已。哈哈!說回正題。第一次在平安夜吃一個豐富的聖誕大餐。雖然只有我一人享用,我也蠻享受啊。尤其是店員適時地奉上菜式,也沒有打擾我悠閒地享用晚餐。(前題是,當時餐廳並不滿座……)結果,我用了一個小時用餐,滿足地離開並回家。先讓大家看看菜單。餐廳有兩個聖誕套餐選擇。上面的餐單是熟食,下面則是生食。我選擇了熟食那一個餐單。首先奉上小食。我忘記了有小食,以為是主菜。然後擔心是否足夠飽肚……結果是挺著脹大了的肚子回家,哈哈!就這樣看不知道原來麵包是熱的。而且,外脆內軟。有些餐廳會將麵包放進籃子裡,配備牛油給客人食用。但並不是所有餐廳都提供熱的麵包。我喜歡熱的,會令我想多吃一個。這個綠色的醬料內有白色的芝士。味道很鹹,應該是希臘芝士吧。綠色醬料吃不出是甚麼來的。這個紅椒很鮮甜。緩和了剛才那個的鹹味。最後一個也是鹹的。想也是芝士。聖誕套餐有一杯汽酒配小食。不過,我不喝酒。店員便特別讓我選擇餐單上的鮮蔬汁(原價是$52)代替。我選擇了Reboot

即甘筍、橙、西芹和薑。

我覺得薑味太濃了,不太合我口味。
甘筍味道強烈,西芹味則不太明顯。
或許是與甘筍結合了而分不出來吧。
我也嚐不到橙的味道,所以這杯鮮蔬汁並不甜。
如果橙味多一點會較好。

其實這杯鮮蔬汁已佔了我的胃的一半空間了。

其實另一個前菜Porcini Cappuccino也很吸引,有牛肝菌和松露。

很美味的果醬!
山葵的份量剛好,不會太刺鼻。
牛油果打得很軟滑,所以餐廳以mousse(慕絲)來命名。

下面有青瓜、甜紅椒、紅洋葱和green lentils。
我不知道有紅洋葱,否則,我會問店員可否去掉。

青瓜清新爽口。
甜紅椒清甜。

Green lentils是法國綠豆。
起初以為是平常吃到的綠豆。
坐在隣桌的客人向店員查問才知道。
Green lentils煮得綿軟。
有醋的味道,很對味。

主菜選了Spinach & 3-Cheese Lasagna。
另一個主菜含有香檳,應該沒有辦法去掉,因此我不用苦惱如何選擇。

來了這道主菜,我安心了。
吃了這個必定很飽。

大碟上有芫茜碎作粉飾。

主菜很有份量。
而且很鹹。
當然了,以三款芝士製成。

表面那一大片烤了的芝士口感很好。
烤了的芝士會有點像肉類的質感,很特別的。

芝士蓋著碎菠菜、白色的鹹芝士碎、番茄和寬條麵。
幸好有番茄,中和了芝士的鹹味。
菠菜和寬條麵也軟滑。

主菜其實也配一杯紅酒或白酒。
不過,可能我不喝酒的關係,店員也沒有向我提及。
我想是因為他給我大杯裝的鮮蔬汁,那便是兩杯酒的替代品了。

我選了這個Chocolate Mousse。

這間餐廳的甜品不錯的。
上一次吃過Mango Delight和Brown Rice Pudding同樣美味且特別。

這次的Chocolate Mousse是朱古力愛好者的必吃之選!
朱古力味超濃,帶少許苦味。
非常軟滑。
甜度低。
現在也很回味呢!

最後還有一杯餐茶。
原本是咖啡或英式茶。
晚上不想喝咖啡,英式茶又不太吸引我。
於是,店員說可以給我一杯熱朱古力。

可以這樣彈性配合客人需求,實在太好了!

雖然剛吃了味道極濃的Chocolate Mousse,然而,這杯熱朱古力完全不會令我有甜膩感。
首先,朱古力熱飲本身是沒有甜味的。
店員另外奉上糖瓶給我,我只下了一小匙黃糖。

朱古力熱飲的味道沒有比Chocolate Mousse濃郁,應該是含奶的關係。
口感幼滑。
喝下去很順喉,很温暖。
少少的甜味已足夠了。
便是盡情地感受朱古力的原味。

整個聖誕套餐很豐富,$348,另有加一服務費。
除了食物味道好,置身幽靜的餐廳中,慢慢享用晚餐,心中感覺平安。
我就這樣渡過了一個美味的平安夜。

最後送上自製的聖誕卡。

其實是餐廳餐桌上的電子蠟燭裝飾。
在不太明亮的燈光下,亮著電子蠟燭,也能營造浪漫氣氛。

We started off with a refreshing ganzpacho which was tomato in three ways.
Fresh tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, olive oil and black pepper on a bed of crunchy yellow and black tomato surrounded by pool of rich red tomato soup with rosemary n basil.

Then we has lasagne which was made of delicate layers of yellow zucchini filled with luscious tomato sauce and basil pesto with pecan, wilted baby spinach and cashew nut cheese.
The yellow zucchini was sweet and crisp with zesty tomato sauce in the middle

It was mind blowing how good these cheeses could taste, especially the cream cheese and cheddar.
All the cheeses were made with probiotics which helps to turn it into cheese when it is added to the grounded nuts.

For dessert, we had a colourful plate with forest berries, dark chocolate tart and lavender icecream.
The icecream was really interesting, it was light with an extremely viscous texture just like whipped egg white at a freezing temperature.

The restaurant is more like a combination of daytime-cafe and nighttime-bistro, serving a rich collection of light dishes and drinks. Maya runs from the early breakfast till late dinner in the famous but quiet area of Wanchai (Star/Moon Street), and differs largely from the nearby restaurants by their dining concept.

Their Raw Food
With a nickname of 'Live Food', is a healthy dining concept for food processing and preparing. All the foods, fresh vegetables, fruits and grains are considered in large, are prepared through the complicated processing steps (generally takes 4-8 hours) in the purpose of preserving the original nutrition without down-grade the taste. By selecting the right grains for raw dishes, they are, most of the time, feed you well with even a small potion.
They're Organic
Maya tries best to have their raw materials organic. Their brown and red rice is supplied by a small organic grain farm in Philippine; their coffee beans are organic from Rwanda; some of their wines are made of organic grapes in European countries.
They're for Gluten-free, Vegetarian
Their menu is the most impressive one I have never seen in Hong Kong, in terms of, those three labels. I think it is quite important for a small but growing group of people living in Hong Kong.

Following the healthy and fresh lifestyle concept, my eyes cannot take off from their Fresh Juice menu with a list of interesting names to be explored carefully. Each juicy contains at least 3-4 fresh herbs and fruits, and there are such a rich supplement that even with the function description, I cannot make my mind.
Hangover Express is absolutely in the Green category, with spinach, celery, cucumber, broccoli, apple and lemon. This is a super juicy, rich in vitamin A & C, magnesium, potassium, folic acid and selenium. It can be an anytime drink throughout the day, with a fresh nutrition snack.

Smashed potato with corns, carrots and peas, the croquette is slightly fried to be light in taste with some salt as flavoring. The homemade raw ketchup is made of fresh tomato, sundried tomato and spices; it impressed me a lot. The flavoring function is more than enough than the artificial ketchup which is full of sugar, salt and artificial additions. Plus, it tastes more natural in its sweetness, sourness and freshness.

Popular dish in Middle Eastern cuisine and North Africa, it is normally with chickpeas while this one is prepared as raw food concept and chickpeas is taken out for a lighter feature. It is simply blended with black sesame, olive oil and flavored with salt, there is a strong raw and levantine food flavor which is not familiar to Hongkongers. One page of Maya's regular menu is in the way of colorful blocks. They are red, green, purple, yellow, orange and others, each of which represents a combination of paired vegetables and fruits and is followed by matched functions. The Daily soup is served as this color spectrum, and at the first day I visited Maya, I was offered with Green Soup as the daily soup in the Dining City Restaurant Week Menu.
The Green Soup is actually made from zucchini. The soup is served in a home-made style which is plain in looking, but rich in flavor.

A small production of organic brown and red rice from Philippine, the long-shape rice has not the strong water-absorbing capability, and with the mixed brown rice, the chewing experience is quite rich with a combination of softness and hardness. Zucchini and chickpea are two main materials with the tomato ingredients, overall tastes slightly salt and sour.

Chia contains high protein and rich in omega-3. They import Chia seeds from South Africa, and mixed with coconut cream, mixed berries, brown sugar to make this cute pudding cup. The dessert has such a impressive coconut aroma, meantime, keeps natural sweetness. The texture is quite thick because of the physical reaction between chia seeds and water, while it maintains its smoothness. It is one of the most popular dessert of Maya, and I promise you won't be disappointed by it.

Taking out dairy cream and butter, the chocolate mousse is given a new texture, which is drier and my tongue can feel more powder from it. However, the combination of chocolate and coconut, is perfect. It reduces the bitterness of coco but not add too much sweetness, and nourished so well by the healthy coconut ingredients.

Selected white/red/rose from France, Spain and Australia and some of them are organic labeled. Besides, they still have some beer and ciders on the list to make the selection richer. Recently, they start Happy Hour with a free canapes station full of cheeses, olives, tomatoes and healthy raw snacks. The owner wants to keep Happy Hour last till late night, even during the dinner, however the point is to create a casual bistro atmosphere for all comings.

Alrighty, let's cut to the chase:
I ordered their specialty veg/fruit drink ($48 - which was the one with beets and a multiple of other fresh and yummy-licious additions). It tasted fine. Nothing to boast about, but it was certainly a healthy drink. Hence, me ordering the drink. 

My main was the zucchini pasta with meatless meatballs ($168)...oh gosh, what a disappointment. Not that it tasted poorly, the zucchini were shaved nicely to replicate "pasta" but after trying the meatless meatballs, I didn't want to eat another one...besides, this dish (in my honest opinion) should cost at most $58. It just wasn't worth that amount. I asked myself, is it because they're located on the ground floor and rent is getting more ridiculous for them? How on earth can this dish be worth $168?! It blew my mind...

Dessert: We had the vegan baklava ($58) and it was definitely up to par with the ones I've had in Greece. Would definitely order another (for take-away). 

Would I return for a meal? No. 
Would I return for their baklava? Yes. And that's it.

普羅旺斯雜燴其實是油燉翠玉瓜、番茄、茄子及甜西椒。

以燉的方式來煮,可以保持蔬菜的水份。
本人喜歡濕潤的食物,也較喜歡燴的飯麵,所以,這道菜很適合我的口味。
除了水份充足,質感還要是偏向軟綿的,也是我喜歡的口感。
當然,翠玉瓜和甜西椒也不失其爽口的質感。

整碟都是蔬菜,而且是熱騰騰的,令我很滿足。
蔬菜味道著重天然,所以,沒有放入有濃烈味道的調味料。
只有表面灑上乾而碎的菲達芝士(即希臘白色軟芝士),其鹹味用以豐富蔬菜的味道。

雖然有油沉澱於碟子內,吃完也不覺得膩,應該是芥花籽油之類。

不過,份量不算多。
若是男生的話,應該不滿足。
我剛病癒康復中,不多吃也可,否則,我也覺得不足夠……

芒果味道剛好,不會太霸道。
可以吃到芒果肉內的「筋」,證明是新鮮芒果做的。

甜品令整個午餐完滿,有很飽足的感覺。

My group was mixed on the dish, but I found it to be quite unique and tasty. For an entree, I dined on a vegan omelette type dish, which was slightly crispy on the outside, but just soft enough inside. The omelette alone was not especially flavorful, but the tomato sauce around it paired well. Dessert was a real treat- the puddings were well crafted and went down quickly.

All in all, Maya Cafe is a winner if you're looking for intriguing, creative and delicious dishes and are willing to accept a thing or two off the mark. I look forward to going back.

I've been to Maya Cafe myself more times tHan I could remember, but this was the first that the whole family came. Maya Cafe offers a special breed of vegetarian and vegan in that it is mainly Mediterranean in style, partly because of the French-Moroccan origins of one of the chef-owners. It is also one of the first restaurants in Hong Kong to introduce raw cuisine (e.g. raw pasta) to its menu.

We started off with some juice.

Pick Me Up
($48)
carrots, apple and ginger

~Ginger will help to alleviate symptoms of nausea and carrots and apple provide a burst of nutrients~ according to the menu. I believed that the ginger helped remove some of the "coldness" of the juices (as in traditional wisdom) and generate some "heat" on a rather chilly evening.

Red Hot Juice ($48) tomatoes, red bellpepper, carrots celery, cayenne pepper
~Low in natural sugars and high in the flavour vitamin A and C. Cayenne pepper removes toxins from the blood and help raise the body temperature~
As described it was a wintry juice, packed with antioxidants. The cayenne pepper really gave me a kick!

Even the soups got a raw version.

Raw Soup of the Day
($55)
~carrots avocado with ginger and coriander seeds~
To the unfamiliar this soup can more be likened to gazpacho, but it was richer and more creamy due to the avocado inside.

And now down to the mains.

Mezze Platter ($142)
~Hummus, babaganoush, Lebanese salad, cheese, olives and multigrain bread~
This was one of the more Meditteranean dishes. I think there were a couple of falafael balls as well. Standard fare, can't really get too wrong with it.

Frittata ($138, gluten-free, vegan)
~Baked organic hand made tofu with potatoes and bellpeppers with spices~

This was one where the creativity of the chef came in. Thanks to tofu, you could vegan-ize almost anything that calls for eggs, and you wouldn't believe this frittata has got no eggs whatsoever! The texture was light but it was flavorful, I could easily finish the whole dish all by myself! (Probably except the salad on the side which was too heavy on the dressing and was exactly the same salad that came with the follwing dish).

Meatless Balls in rich tomato dressing ($148, gluten-free)
~Made of mushrooms, oatmeal and Parmesan these balls taste like meatballs, served with red/brown rice and salad in a sesame dressing~

This was probably the best among what we had that evening. First of all it was hot (I'm referring to the temperature - a definite plus point on a cold day), served in a clay casserole for that extra homey touch. As you can see from the picture that the "meatless ball" in fact imitated the texture of ground meat quite well (although no mock meat was used), got a hint of spices just likethe real thing and was very hearty. Eating it with the rice was even more filling.

Let's not forget to try one of their signature Raw Vegan Pastas too.

Raw fettuccine with Alfredo Truffle Sauce ($140, gluten-free, raw, vegan)
~Fettuccine shaped zucchini with a creamy cashew-truffle sauce~
This is one of Maya Cafe's signatures. Zucchini is spiralized (using a specialised machine) to form strips that resemble spaghetti, and then mixed with a cashew sauce, which is very commonly used in raw cuisine to give a creamy consistency. One useful tip: don't let this "zughetti" sit for too long or else the water in the zucchini would be released and the sauce would get diluted.
I was perfectly okay with it as I'd had the same dish quite a few times already, but my family members thought it was like another plate of salad.

We wish we'd had room for dessert, but we were too full after all these yummy dishes for that. However, do look for their extensive selection of sweet goods including Mango Delight (mango pudding), chocolate mousse, gluten-free orange muffins, baklava and so much more!

This was cream of porcini soup served with almond crackers. The soup had a nice consistency that was not too thick or thin with a nice kick of black pepper in it.
If you like these crackers, they have them for sale and there is also sesame.

Next I had the puffs which were both delicious, one was spinach and the other was potato. They were both amazing because it was spiced with my favourite cumin.
The salad on the side was also good because is was dressed in sesame sauce.

A wholesome pot of sliced vegetables sandwiched together and baked in delicious olive oil with feta cheese on top!!
This was simple and delicious paired with healthy nutritious red rice.

Lastly, there was dessert, it was a lovely moist cake made with coconut, dried fruits, nuts flavoured with orange blossom water drizzled with cashew nut sauce.

There is a drink included and I was recommended the hot chocolate which is raw cocoa that had a rich strong taste.

As well as the five course meal, I also tried the Chia seeds pudding which is interesting because it was nutty and light with a nice berry taste.
