I and my husband went to this shop in KCC this morning to have sandwiches for breakfast. I thought that finally we have good sandwich shop in Kwai Chung so i was so happy. Because near this area , difficult to find western style food. Unfortunately, it ended with very bad experience for both of us.
First of all , the shop was empty i thought will be fast serving for us but we waited 10 minutes to get our coffees and sandwiches. We ordered sandwiches in panini and ciabatta bread. The breads was not fresh if you eat sandwiches , you expect fresh bread of course! I said ok , you can heat in the oven well and it should be crispy and can eatable, unfortunately the lady in the bar , she has no clue about doing sandwiches . We wanted melted cheese with chicken , she tried to cut unfresh bread before heating and she couldn`t manage to cut well of course and then put the stuffs in the bread before heating the bread and tried to heat all together so the bread was uncripsy , the cheese is not melted ,chicken was so cold and the bread was nearly cold. The other lady which is cashier , was trying to make coffee at the same time , unfortunately coffee was sucks too !!! we ordered hot latte but it was cold ( not at all hot ) and nearly half of the cup empty. At the end , when i asked holders for coffee , she offered green sandwich bags for carrying , i said its impossible to carry with this bag then she offered small plastic bags for carrying.
At the end, We paid over 200$ HKD for 2 awful sandwiches and coffees. It`s not worth it at all.
題外話/補充資料:
I definitely will not go to any Oliver Sandwich shops in Hong Kong after this very bad experience.
