行過灣仔呢間店外,突然記起朋友話呢間d Macarons 好出名。一於買返去試下啦。買左粒。。。。。唔記得左咩味既Macarons 同一件cake。Macarons 食左都唔知咩味。。。少少脆,但就好甜。件栗子cake 我返到屋企就溶溶地,味道同賣相都好味,蛋糕好鬆軟。但。。。。都係好甜羅。如果呢間野可以少甜就好啦。

Macarons 食左都唔知咩味。。。少少脆,但就好甜。

由這店在灣仔開張開始,就有了想試的念頭。到了現在,連分店都開了,才第一次真正到訪。一入門口已經心花怒放。見到不同的滕籃,放住很多不同種類的麵包。再行入去就係好多好多色彩繽紛的cupcakes同macaroons,好靚 跟住重有好靚既pastries,最後係沙律同sandwiches。成個display就好似幅畫咁,每樣都好吸引。座位不多,幸好不是繁忙時間。坐在高木枱,望向靠牆放了擺設的一格格木櫃,有點古典味。一次過試了11款,各有特色,差不多每件都很有層次,全部都唔錯,很滿足 看到放滿枱面的甜點,心情興奮,先來個大合照最喜歡passion fruit mont Blanc,栗子味好濃,不甜不膩。食到中間的熱情果,少少酸甜,感覺refreshing。比較下,mango mont Blanc的栗子蓉較幼身,冇咁突出。mille feuille也是我的最愛。酥皮鬆脆,更欣賞的是下層的caramel味道極濃,到現在回想起也感到當時味覺上的震撼。Creme brulee 很強的蛋味,甜度適中,兩者配合得恰到好處。這幾款有berry味的都比較light。Trilogy只是raspberry味的朱

座位不多,幸好不是繁忙時間。坐在高木枱,望向靠牆放了擺設的一格格木櫃,有點古典味。

最喜歡passion fruit mont Blanc,栗子味好濃,不甜不膩。食到中間的熱情果,少少酸甜,感覺refreshing。

mille feuille也是我的最愛。酥皮鬆脆,更欣賞的是下層的caramel味道極濃,到現在回想起也感到當時味覺上的震撼。

朱古力試了三款,全都沒預期中甜和溜。noisette的榛子朱古力比較甜,口感rich D實D,榛子味不是太夠。passion chocolat反而很light。

好開心的下午茶,滿足了我對passion甜點的期待。下次要試三文治和沙律!!
雖然環境和食物質素都絕對出色,但席間一直有小昆蟲飛來飛去,甚至在蛋糕上走動,衛生情況有待改善。

All I can say about this place is – one word: mind-soothing. And why is that? My first time visiting this corner shop of Passion was after a day of tiring work, crashed system, and non-stop blabbering client meetings. Ate salad first so as to feel less guilty about the desserts later on. Daily specials include 8 different options for you to choose for your green portions. Mandarin Beetroot Salad, California Shell Salad, Apple Celery Salad, Moroccan Couscous Salad, Tomatoes and Mozzarella, Fruity Turkey Salad, Bounty of Eden. The salad dressing of California Shell Salad is creamy and rich in flavor which seemingly has a base of thousand island dressing to it – the shell pasta are filled with the rich dressing mixed with the herb scent.

Apply Celery Salad
A lighter choice with chunky fresh red and green apples and streaks of celery, loved the natural taste to it without too much dressing or cream sauce.
Fruity Turkey Salad
Liked how the turkey salad is mixed with dried cranberries, walnuts, and healthier choice of meat – turkey. Turkey contains less fat than other meats like chicken, beef or poultry. Some would think that these salads are often too oily with too much salad dressing. Well, I would say – if you are going for an extreme diet, this is the last place you want to step foot in, even the salad tastes too delicious to be healthy!
Tomatoes and Mozzarella Salad
Not bad, slightly oily on the pesto oil yet the cheese was surprisingly decent for a non-cheese fan as it didn’t have the strong scent and was chewy for its texture.
The rest of the salads were not bad. Bounty of Eden was slightly oily for all the boiled veggies, Mandarin Beetroot Salad was a bit too citrusy, and the Couscous salad a bit too much of the curry-taste spices in it and I am definitely not a fan of chicken peas *ha*
Quiches. In other context, it is basically baked egg custard with various combinations of meat, seafood, or veggies in open-faced crust. A classic French cuisine served in savory hot or cold dish, Passion nailed this dish with a delightful note. You definitely do not find them all around in Hong Kong!

Mini shiitake mushrooms were used instead of the regular white button mushrooms, guess this was to prevent the quiche from turning soggy as white mushrooms will certainly do so more than shiitake. The crust was most fluffy and flaky out of all quiches.

Quiche Lorraine
One of the classic ones as it includes bits of bacon, onions, and custard in it. This was my favourite savory quiche of the day. Not just that it is down to earth with its modest flavor, the custard is smooth and light as a snack on the side as a meal, bits of onions were critical to balance out the classic quiche.

Compared to other quiches, the Salmon one was not bad as well. The Salmon flavor stood out more than bacon and really liked the savory combination of fish and eggs. The herbs highlighted this dish to make it purely enjoyable.

Milles Feuilles
I am totally in love with Passion’s own modification to Milles Feuilles, another French pastry worth trying. The pastry is flaky with a baked crunch to it. The combination of vanilla cream and dulce de leche (cooked in milk, sugar, and toffee) cream complements each other. Vanilla cream not too sweet while the toffee one hits you as a side kick for its milky sweet taste. Classic napoleon pastry well-done!

Summer special – try this before it is gone. As a chestnut fan, I was absolutely satisfied with the creaminess and smooth texture of the chestnut mousse even better than my regular cake place – Harlan in Tsim Sha Tsui. I initially hesitated whether passion fruit is going to go well with chestnut yet I danced a little when I tried this (okay, not literally ha*) It also surprised me a little with milk chocolate filling at the bottom, really liked how Gerard chose different fruit and sweets for its pastry – just cannot settle for the regular Mont Blanc anymore.

Chocolate bomb! Was not as sweet as I imagined – for a dark chocolate fan, this is the dessert to go for.
Loved how there is plain cream in the filling so that it doesn’t get overly sweet and the extremely crunchy bottom part which is dipped in rich dark chocolate sauce was fab.

Something was missing in this tart – I was looking for more acidity and smoothness from the lemon custard. This was not bad but definitely not the best in town. I’ve always thought that by trying one place’s lemon tart, you will be able to tell whether the chefs are good at handling custard cooking (basic technique for desserts!)

Trilogy – Raspberry Ganache
Liked the raspberry and dark chocolate ganache (chocolate and cream cooked into a sauce/glaze/icing, in this case is used as a filling), the slight acidity balanced out the sweetness. The only thing to complain is about the pastry crust which could be crunchier.
On a side note, I do not know why the SCONES are gone now but I had them once and it was absolutely TERRIFIC – loved the buttery, moist regular scones they offer but will have to catch them with luck!
Passion by Gerard Dubois has officially become my hideout place for lunch or evening chillout, whenever you are up for “healthy” salad and mouth-drooling desserts, you know where to go.

係大坑同朋友high tea完再搭電車尼灣仔食下場,今次係第二次尼,啲朋友見到有咁多款野食都即刻心花怒放。五點尼到坐滿人,不過等左一陣好快就有位。SaladSalad係朋友想叫既,其中一款係summer salad,其餘兩款唔係好記得名係咩。啲蕃茄真係好好食,啲汁好正。黃色果款酸酸地有啲豆係度都好好食。Salmon Quiche幾大件,三文魚主要集中係下面,洋蔥比較少,啲蛋好稔,配埋啲三文魚好好味,反而成個quiche都好好食!Creme Brulee焦糖燉蛋食得多,但係未試過咁正既!個燉蛋好滑,入口即溶,不過啲焦糖就甜左少少。Tiramisu蛋糕底好重咖啡味,chesse cake甜度岩岩好唔會好膩,但個人覺得冇咩特別。

焦糖燉蛋食得多,但係未試過咁正既!個燉蛋好滑,入口即溶,不過啲焦糖就甜左少少。

蛋糕底好重咖啡味,chesse cake甜度岩岩好唔會好膩,但個人覺得冇咩特別。

今次我地只揀選普通咖啡,細細杯,份量就似飲Double Espresso一樣,味道極濃好香偏苦唔酸,好飲。咖啡旁邊還有一片意大利餅Biscotti,餅裡有開心果及杏仁,少甜而薄脆,用來伴著少苦的咖啡確係正。

買完沙律後走到沙律櫥窗前,見職員都戴上手套的,同職員講你要那幾款沙律,佢便會用一隻大碟將揀選的沙律按份量再電子磅上量重,唔知點解我見我地果碟比較少,自己用手秤一秤感覺都唔似有400g嘅?因為見坐的對面的與我揀選的差唔多,但大碟得多噃!?
Anyway, 唔理太多喇,最緊要好食,睇落顏色豐富,雖然賣相麻麻似碟頭飯咁,不過呢個分量2個人食都ok夠嘅!
依中間順時針起:
Moroccan Couscous — 先試外面少有的藜麥Salad,以橄欖油和檸檬醬調和,有提子乾、鷹嘴豆等,其實冇乜味,而且橄欖油比較多,剩係覺得一口油啫,不過藜麥都幾好咬,一試無妨。
Bounty of eden — 西蘭花, 椰菜花、紅蘿蔔粒、露荀及車里茄,以香草炒仍爽脆新鮮幾開胃,不過感油膩了點。
Tomato & Mozzarella — 呢款用了欖油香草,大大件蕃茄鮮甜清新,有水牛芝士粒粒,可惜只有數粒,好快食完,呢個終於唔覺膩。
Californian Shell Pasta — 由大量勁Creamy的香草沙律醬混和貝殼粉和雞肉甘荀,我對大量嘅沙律醬麻麻,友人就覺得 OK。

今次應是我第一次食Sour Dough Pizza,切成6件放在大木碟上,本身我唔太鍾意食Pizza,通常我只會食批邊香脆部份,中間餡料會比其他人食架。
所以我對批底嘅期望較大,呢個真係睇住佢出焗即時放係我地面前,香氣濃郁,中間放上一堆火箭菜,每件也有大大塊蘑菇,睇樣係滿分嘅。
批邊香脆又鬆軟,好食喎!火箭菜帶有辛辣及蒜的香,極新鮮。薄餅上的法式醬料味道唔錯,食完唔會膩,芝士味香,呢個真係好味又抵食喎!

呢個甜品係食哂主菜後加的,因為甜點櫃實在有太多選擇,今次我地就揀最喜歡的味道入手:綠茶,睇見綠茶只有呢款,就係佢啦。
睇佢細細杯幾靚仔,頂層的一塊黑朱古力上有Cream...Mousses?
中間一層厚厚Mousses好幼滑,可惜綠茶Mousses的味好淡,只靠面層綠茶粉才有味....有點失望。
用叉深入一點才食到朱古力蛋糕,蛋糕好濕潤但朱古力味淡、普通喇。

Last saturday....19 jul 2014, i had a big celebration with my frds....so after made the beautiful nails....i went there in rush and bought some beautiful cakes and macarons

There are many different favor of macarons and cakes....but of coz....i have no idea what kind of favor inside...luckily their staffs explain very clear to me....even i know they are all busy...specially have book festival in wanchai... They still provide a beautiful smile and helpful suggestions to me....

Night time when we enjoy the cakes... Most of frds said their macarons are not too sweet like other popular shop....in my opinion....im especially like the chocolate favors....still have rich chocolate after eat....

After book festival....i must visit here again and have a cup of coffee.....u know..... Enjoy ur life just like that~

放工經過這間在屋企附近的小店,黑黑色的。很多不同的甜點,顏色也很美。點了數個macaron , 比想像中甜,不是本人的口味。但仍算鬆脆可口,但未能入心。叫了黑玫瑰抺士,外型真的吸引,而且又有朱古力味,又滑又不太甜,凍凍的口感,正。在灣仔又一甜食好去處啦

东西真心好吃。点了个小的沙拉拼盘pizzadilla。值得一提的是,虽然人客如云,但环境依然保持得非常干净。实在不错。只是位子难找,可能那时候正值午餐时段的特别多人。喜欢他们的沙拉拼盘,可以点好几个来吃。鸡肉沙拉很好吃,推荐噢!

題外話/補充資料: 如果赶时间的话建议外卖。因为真的很多人,堂食的话一般比较难找位子。而且只此一家,人客几乎可以用“蜂涌而至”来形容。

剛剛睡醒,走到我家附近的這家cafe來個早午餐,人可是彼多的,還好店員讓我們坐在靠近門口的地方,可以舒服地吃我的沙律。我們點了Caesar salad with Franch Ham, salmon on Baguette, and coffee drinks, salad 好大碟,沙律菜好多,而且很新鮮,咬落有水份,配有火腿和芝士,還有脆卜卜的面包粒,口感豐富。lemongrass and ginger tea, 入口有清新的lemongrass 味,午飯小時光的好配搭

灣仔繁忙嘅莊士敦道,搵到呢間舒服嘅法式咖啡店,入面有一個長長的凍櫃,裝滿琳琅滿目嘅糕點,側面還放滿多款麵包。在這裏不難看到小店的誠意,凍櫃後面便是一個開放式的廚房,店內的麵包酥餅均全部在店內新鮮焗製,外表精緻之餘更加了一份內在美味。太漂亮了!栗子蛋糕不太甜,𥚃面有一塊蛋糕底,吃下似mousse cake我喜歡酸酸甜甜的甜品,所以點了檸檬批,好味道即磨的Caffe Mocha

Passions food is OK - not great but OK. What upsets me more then the average food is the terrible customer service. I guess poor customer service would be somewhat accepatable if the food was reallly wonderfull. It maybe that its lunch rush when I go and this is why but, there is no friendly smile or hello when you walk in, indeed everyone looks like the lst thing they want to do is help. The person behind the salad counter literally throws/slops the salad in and practically throws it at you. Th

The cashier/counter person - never a smile, please or thank you. Sometimes que to the left/sometimes to the right but which ever side can you can be sure its wrong. 

Because there seems to be no order to how to ask for things people are routinely ignored. Today was the last time I will (with my company) frequent passion, this complete lack of service does not make up for average food.

Lunch time is not supposed to be an unhappy time.

近期最人氣熱店一定是 Passion by Gerard Dubois, 原本在灣仔的本店一直叫好叫座, 近期再在尖沙咀開設分店, 另期火上加油, 一直沒有機會一試, 剛好有工作要到灣仔區, 於是到此了解品嘗。下午茶時間都食客不少, 基本全滿, 於是選擇外賣, 原想試 Milles Feuilles, 但怕拿走坐車時有問題, 有機會再品嘗。要了另一人氣出品 Pear Danish ($19), 牛油味香濃, 啤梨應該有糖水加工, 但整個 Pear Danish 味道清甜, 是水準之作。 另外要了香草包($20), 香草味非常強, 麵包用上較多高筋麵粉造成, 加入橄欖油, 因此筋性強及比較重身, 口感非常好。沒有機會一試 Passion by Gerard Dubois 的蛋糕及飲品有點失望, 下次再試。
