I bought the baileys cake in this "well-known" cake shop, which left me a seriously bad impression of it in terms of its taste and its service!
First, m particularly disappointed of the mousse they make, which does not have its smooth complexion that it should have. It is too much fluffy, light, and soft (almost melting, texturewise).
The bailey's aroma of the cake is a bit too strong, and unbalanced, making it the bitterest one I ever taste.
Servicewise, I meet two rude female staff, who do not greet customers.
While I ask them to provide a fork, they make a big sigh to each other, who then give me changes in a bunch of one or two dollars coins, and then laughing to each other.
Afterall, I would never recommend it to anybody. Especially in HK, I think people may confuse food's quality by its window display and shop's design. In fact. there are many delicate cake shops around with good customer service provided. Like Cova, Agnesb, La Maison Du Chocolat.......
