After a very rainy cold xmas, went out on a pretty sunny lunch hour and saw this warm bakery opening. So I dun mind a bit queueing to support new shop opening under covid. 3 OLs in front & behind me were all persuaded by the promoter to try "signature" Soda Bread . We would like to order by slice but they only sold in loaf.It's ok. When I saw the portion of loaf , huge and bargain right? Happily went home to serve warm, ummm....cakery texture, then soda lumps and salty flour mixture as if raw...

flour mixture as if raw...I couldn't realize it and decided to let the loaf stay another 3 days in kitchen , wishing miracle would happen as $88 bread should  as least strike normal balance of flavor and be edible within 3 days...Nope ,everyday the soda smell amplified and my wish was too much . Were I just  unlucky ?

After lunch, I decided to have some desserts and I decided to try the doughnuts at 2 places to compare them. The Bake & The Bottleman and Dough Bros.I ordered their Strawberry Doughnut. It wasn't hot and there was too much sugar on top. However, the strawberry filling was definitely amazing. The tartness of the filling was able to balance out some of the sugar on top. Later I went to Dough Bros as well I have to say Dough Bros was definitely better(in my other review)

I ordered their Strawberry Doughnut. It wasn't hot and there was too much sugar on top. However, the strawberry filling was definitely amazing. The tartness of the filling was able to balance out some of the sugar on top. Later I went to Dough Bros as well I have to say Dough Bros was definitely better(in my other review)

OVERALL: conveniently located @leetungavenue, this modern & chic bakery by @rogan_simon is one to try! You can definitely find some homemade bakes that suits your fancy 😋 We also heard that their wine bar is coming 👀🍷

DISHES: 
🍪🍫Giant cookie - just look at the size of this cookie! You can indulge throughout the day (or for sharing!), Pan particularly likes the use of dark chocolate and the chewiness. Recommended!

🍩🍋Homemade donut filled with lemon curd - the filling is a bit too sour for Pan’s liking, but the donut dough is soft & pillowy ☁️ Would opt for other fillings next time!

見此店裝修了很久,剛剛又見報紙有鱔稿,一於支持下新店。買咗4件餅,strawberry donut-外皮普通水準,不太鬆軟,果醬太多,跟本不成比例。lemon curb donut-醬太多,最慘係酸到單眼,最後掉咗。scone-質地太實、無牛油香味,究竟有冇試過味才擺出來賣。chocolate cake-似朱古力多過cake. 另外,服務態度一般,幾個後生仔女,不見有什麼熱情推介或禮貌招待,老闆見字請考慮快快改善。

Went on the coldest and rainy Sunday to buy their onion tart and chocolate cake as they are delicious. It’s my third visits there but I really want the owner can read this and would improve its ordering process. There were at least 8 staff behind the counter but you must first let the one who is holding an iPad at the front know what you would like to order. There were at least 8 staff behind the counter but you must first let the one who is holding an iPad at the front know what you would like to order. Then that person repeat your order to you before he/she tells those 8 staff behind the counter what you are ordering. The 8 staff repeat your order and pick up what you need from the counter. Now you can move to the payment spot at the end. The staff who has collected your order reconfirmed your order once again and then tell whoever is in charge of the payment machine AGAIN. Finally you are allowed to pay…..

Come on, buying bakery is not rocket science, why make it so difficult and time consuming?

超級巨型大過塊面既曲奇,可以夠我分開幾次食🍪🤪邊位保持到非常脆身,內裏又帶煙韌,口感的確唔錯😍用上三重朱古力,叮完會有半溶效果,甜度又出奇地適中🤭

個名講到明話用Buttermilk整嘅,
做法就十分正宗啦🤔
而用Buttermilk整嘅scone多數都更加蓬鬆,

比一般食到嘅scone更加蓬鬆👍🏻
但可惜佢牛油味唔太重,
