We had signed up for a cooking class here for a Xmas lunch event. We were very excited for a cook and learn session with the chef but it didn’t turn out the way we thought it would be. We had signed up for a cooking class here for a Xmas lunch event. We were very excited for a cook and learn session with the chef but it didn’t turn out the way we thought it would be. We didn’t cook, we watched the chef to cook- no hand on experience.

We had 2 types of finger food- bruschetta and cheese gougeres. Then we had 2 tiny pieces of scallop and a bowl of veggie soup for appetisers. For the main course, beef tenderloin and fish garoupa were served. The beef tenderloin is about half a size of my palm (excluding fingers), half an inch thick and the fish is about a mahjong block size. Oh! I forgot to mention we had potato and few pieces of bean for the sides. Finished up with a slice of apple pie. No tea or coffee, only water for the entire time. We had to go out for another lunch afterward 😭

The service is okay and the chef is experienced. I just feel like It’s not worth $880 per head for lunch and didn’t get what we signed up for- cooking.
