Haha dunno why it took me so long to pay a visit to this super popular Korean BBQ place! Situated in the heart of CWB, it has an interesting “concrete jungle” view surrounded by rundown 唐樓s, but surprisingly it has a nice Korean vibe that I felt like being in a two-storey resto in Seoul!
The beef set consisted of beef seorae, beef belly, sliced beef chuck flap tail and beef ribs. The portion is large enough for four ppl 👌🏼 and look at that gorgeous web of snow-white fat 😱 They’re so tender and succulent 😋 my only complaint is that they kinda went overboard with the marinade that the meat was a bit too salty/sweet with the tariyaki sauce. Actually given the high quality of the wagyu, it’s a pity that its “beef aroma” was overshadowed by the sauce it’s soaked in.
Ohh I also feel obliged to recommend their (unlimited) side dishes which were so good!! I always hate the kimchis in hk because they tasted so salty and processed. But the kimchis here were apparently homemade because they hv the natural sweetness in the fresh cabbage that’s reminiscent of the kimchis I’ve had in Seoul!
Worth the price if you’re coming with a group of friends🤩
