i don;t live in tseung kwan o. if it wasnt for my friend who lives nearby, i dun think i would ever walk to a relatively tranquil side of tseung kwan o and found this interesting shop. their soups are quite remarkable !hotpot in summer is not a problem. we got cold drinks iced calamanis soda, fresh, not too sweet, we ordered 2 jars the hot pot soup is cooked in front you.we ordered fish maw, chicken, fresh kinpinra and fresh Cordyceps flower, some kind of Chinese fungus staff helped us quickly s

we ordered 2 jars
the hot pot soup is cooked in front you.
we ordered fish maw, chicken, fresh kinpinra and fresh Cordyceps flower, some kind of Chinese fungus
staff helped us quickly stir fried the fresh meat and seared all sides.
then added in other ingredients and poured hot stock to the pan and let the meat simmer a while
by pre frying the meat, this can give a milky colour to the soup and bring out the sweetness of the meat.
when the chicken is done, the staff recommended us to eat the chicken first.
chicken was tender and the other ingredients were soaked with meat flavour
the soup at that time was already very rich even though the cooking time wasnt too long.
staff added more chicken stock for us to start the hot pot.
we ordered cuttlefish paste, made little scoops and dropped into the soup
sliced angus beef, even fat and meat ratio
lotus root and chinese lettuce, fresh and sweet with chicken soup
