Chicken Avocado Salad $148
(Fresh garden salad with avocado with vinaigrette dressing)
They did not skimp on the avocado! I know some restaurants bait you with their ‘avocado’ and only give you 3 cubes of rotten ones. But not here. The avocado is beautifully sliced and perfectly ripe. So soft and nutty against the sharp and acidic salad. The chicken is also nice and tender and delicious with the avocado. I also love tomatoes and cucumbers, which are juicy, crunchy, and appropriately sized.

Halibut Fillet $198
(Pan-fried halibut served with couscous salad, lemon, and fresh mango salsa)
This blew my mind. It arrived and I was already shocked by the size of this halibut fillet. Already I knew it was worth it. The sear on the fish is also spot-on with the more idyllic char and brown on it. The fish is by far the flakiest and softest I have ever had with a very crispy and gelatinous skin. The only flaw is that it is under-seasoned but eating it with the couscous and mango salsa helped give it flavour.
The couscous is very delicious and spiced well. Soft and fluffy but just a tad soggy. I especially love the additional chickpeas, tomatoes and red onion that give it a great crunch and make it more 3-dimensional.
The mango salsa is not as fresh as I hoped and the mango was a bit overripe but very sweet and went well with the fish. The cucumber, red onions and tomatoes really lighten it up and give the fish an acidity and crunch.
They also serve this with some salad leaves and I really enjoyed using the bigger butter leaves to make a wrap with the fish, couscous and salsa.
Moreover, the portion is very generous and we shared this between two people.

US Baby Back Ribs (half) $228
(Tender rib rack with our special bbq sauce served with potato wedges)
The ribs are so tender and literally fall off the bone when you pull on them with a fork. Very meaty with big chunks of meat between the bones. I absolutely love their special barbecue sauce, it’s sweet and savoury and very addicting.
They actually gave potato fries instead of potato wedges but I am not complaining. These homemade fries (you can tell as the shape aren’t regular and they still have the skin on them) are so crispy and fluffy without being greasy or oily. Best with the ketchup but I wished they also gave their barbecue sauce on the side.
A nice refreshing salad on the side with cucumber and tomato. This was perfectly dressed and had a very nice accompaniment with the ribs and fries.
Even though we ordered half, it was quite a big portion with 6 thick ribs.
I will say that this came 20 minutes after we finished the other two which was quite annoying.

💬 Overall, delicious food at Science Park. A great western restaurant with outdoor seating that also has Asian flavours and tastes. The menu is very diverse and I look forward to coming back to try more stuff. It is on the more expensive side but the portions definitely make up for that.
