Laksa Chicken Rice noodles
One of my favorite singaporean dish is Laksa! I had it twice in my previous Singapore trip and it was not enough at all. I always have an impression that Laksa in Hong Kong has less flavour of Laksa (or maybe peanut). But the one I had here was pretty flavourful. I like how it was not as spicy as expected. The chicken slices were smooth and the dried tofu was very delicious as the Laksa soup was absorbed into it.
Deep fried singaporean Tofu
Tofu is what I usually pick to order in Chinese restaurants as it is ourChao Chow family traditional dish. The bean curd were very smooth as expected. The tofu was coated with corn starch and other seasonings like pepper and salt. We dipped the tofu with the honey mustard from another dish called Honey Mustard deep fried Shrimp. It actually escalated the flavour very well.
Honey Mustard Deep Fried Shrimps
This is a very delicious dish and is suitable for kids.The shrimp became slightly sweet and salty being mixed with the Honey mustard. Really love it!
Vegetables
The vegetables was spicy being cooked with the chili but it was just right for us who like some slight taste of spice! The vegetables was also fresh and it a must order dish after ordering so many “yeet hei” (hot and unhealthy) deep fried food!
