We used to visit Genki Sushi often but hadn't come in a long time. Today we passed by and decided to drop by for a quick afternoon tea. The garlic were really crispy but were a bit too salty itself. It went good with the chicken breast shreds which were well dressed in some salad dressing and were quite tender. The addition of two slices of cucumber was quite a good combo to balance the salty crispy garlic. The seaweed was still fresh and crispy. Quite a good deal to have two pieces of sushi like this at just $14+10%!

The batter of the white fish tempura definitely looked too thick but was crispy. The tartar sauce was a good combo with the fish. It was actually quite well presented with details like how some tempura salt was sprinkled over the plate. Quite a good value for money.

We used to order 吉列蠔花卷 very often which served a really big and juicy cutlet oyster. This one definitely looked much smaller in size and the batter was not thin. Yet the oyster was still very juicy. The dressing was different too as this one was slightly sour rather than the typical tartar sauce. The accompanying seaweed was fresh and crispy too. The chopped spring onion on top was quite a good flavour enhancing topping.
We ordered 1 snack to share.

It was reasonably well presented with all the necessary sauces and toppings like seaweed slices and 木魚碎. They were quite hot and almost burnt my mouth. They were not exceptionally good but were reasonable with soft interior and real octopus piece in each ball. Some balls were bigger than the others. Anyway, quite a good choice for those who would like to order such a snack when they were enjoying a sushi meal.
Overall quality of the food was reasonably good especially when discounted by price. This branch was also a 高速綫 and was great fun for kids! All the tables I passed by had kids as part of the group. Cheap eats with reasonable quality.
