Japanese Clam Udon (和風蜆肉鳥冬) $45
+ $9 for Broccoli (西蘭花)
+ $9 for Onsen egg (溫泉蛋)


First time trying their clam udon and wow I was surprised. I had at least 10 pieces of clam and all of them were pretty decent in size and ‘sandy-ness’ but the taste is on another level, super flavorful in the broth. It’s also really tender and tasted fantastic with the pile of wakame.


Udon noodles though were slightly soggy and thinner than before, nonetheless, it still absorbed the broth very well and had some chewiness to it.


I added extra $9 for broccoli and onsen egg respectively. Very happy with my decision. I added the egg to my noodles first so I could leak the egg yolk on top of it 😋😅 The yolk made the noodles so creamy and rich, it also mixed with the soy bonito broth making it so much better. I drank the remaining broth that had the egg whites and it’s so refreshing!


The broccoli also surprised me. $9 and there is a generous amount of florets soaking in a light soy sauce. Each piece is incredibly crunchy and fresh.

💬 Overall, super satisfying meal at such a cheap price! I also love how you can see the worker roll out the udon noodles at the back ☺️ very hard to find authentic handmade Japanese udon in restaurants now. Buying on the queue and eating the noodles brought me back to Japan. I really hope they open an actual restaurant here in Hong Kong.
