Wow, what a bargain!!!
So off we went to catch the bargain on this Saturday.
We originally planned on parking at the World Trade Centre where the CWB Wildfire was located but only noticed on arrival that the carpark was closed for renovation
May be that's the reason why the CWB Branch offered the bargainable deal?! After finally manageing to pass through the CWB and Gloucester Road traffic jam and found a parking space, we arrived at the restaurant just before the 1:00 pm peak. Lucky that we called in that we would be a bit late, so they did not "sell" our window seat to others
The decor of the place is nice and tidy, with windows overlooking Glouscerter Road and a glimpse of the CWB Harbour area. The semi-buffet lunch sets range from $79 to $109 and include appetizer/salad buffet, main course, dessert and coffee. Bargainable We ordered pizza and pasta sets at $89 and $79 respectively.
The semi-buffet didn't offer a lot of choices. Qoo said the smoked salmon was nice but they went really fast and refilling was not always timely. The soup was a pumpkin/coconut cream style soup. I personally don't like coconut too much but others thought the coconut/pumpkin fusion was something new. The pasta was a bacon/zucchini linguini in garlic cream sauce. Creamy, tasty and al dente. The serving was also very generous The pizza was a mushroom, sausage and cheese pizza. The crust was thin and crispy topped with a generous cheese cover and peppered with loads of mushrooms and sausage. A lot better than the chain store pizzas. We concluded the meal with a nice ice-cold coffee and a orange mousse cake. Nice place, great pizzas and pasta, bargainable price. Will defintely encore
