My friend and I were looking for a place to have ramen near their workplace, so we decided to check out a newly opened restaurant called Jiyuryu. As soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the staff and promptly served with two glasses of water. The ambiance of the place was cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing dining experience. One of the highlights of our visit was the Rich Beef White Soup Ramen with Beef Back Fat that my friend ordered. The broth was incredibly flavorful, with a distinct beefy taste. The beef back fat added an extra layer of richness to the soup without being overly greasy. The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked, boasting a delightful chewiness. To top it off, the bowl came with a perfectly cooked half-boiled seasoned egg, which was a delightful surprise. The combination of all these elements made for an incredibly satisfying and delicious bowl of ramen.
I opted for the Rich Foam Chicken White Soup Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The soup had a creamy texture, thanks to the rich foam created from the chicken broth. It had a comforting and savory flavor that was incredibly enjoyable. The tender and juicy chicken breast piece added a delightful meaty texture to the dish, while the seasoned chicken roll provided an extra burst of flavor. Similar to my friend's order, my bowl also came with a perfectly cooked half-boiled seasoned egg, which added an additional layer of richness to the overall experience. The ramen noodles were cooked to perfection, offering a satisfying chewiness.
In addition to our ramen orders, we decided to try the Japanese-style fried chicken as an extra treat. The portion was generous, consisting of five perfectly fried and crispy chicken pieces. The outer layer was wonderfully crispy, while the meat inside remained tender and flavorful. It was a delightful accompaniment to our ramen dishes.
To quench our thirst, especially during the hot weather, I also ordered a refreshing cup of Oolong tea, which provided a nice balance to the rich and flavorful meal.
Our experience at Jiyuryu was truly enjoyable, with each dish exceeding our expectations. From the flavorful and comforting bowls of ramen to the crispy and delicious fried chicken, every bite was a delight. The attentive service and comfortable ambiance further enhanced our dining experience. Jiyuryu is definitely a place we would recommend to any ramen enthusiast looking for a satisfying and delicious meal.
