Booked through Openrice table for 4, however, due to more friends would like to join our lunch. I confirmed my booking through whatsapp from table for 4 to table for 9. Restaurant confirmed with a "sure". When we arrive, the receptionist which also is the waiter of the restaurant informed me that my booking is not being update from 4 to 9 but there is seats for us. Booked through Openrice table for 4, however, due to more friends would like to join our lunch. I confirmed my booking through whatsapp from table for 4 to table for 9. Restaurant confirmed with a "sure". When we arrive, the receptionist which also is the waiter of the restaurant informed me that my booking is not being update from 4 to 9 but there is seats for us. We sat down and order our food around 1:05 and waiter told us that the food will be slightly slow. We were fine with it and started order our drinks. After waiting for 20 minutes, we saw one of the chef coming out and get frozen meat from the refrigeration and another 20 mins 1 set of Japanese Style Beef Don is arrived. Other 2 sets of Japanese Style Beef, Spring Onion & Onsen Egg Don arriving after another 10 mins. We kept waiting and follow up the rest of our food (6 Teriyaki Chicken Don) and the food was eventually arrived at 1:58pm (4 don) and 2:05pm (last 2 Don). The lunch set included Americano, Genmalcha, Matcha, Soft drink and Juice. However, Americano, Genmalcha and Matcha are not available. And I don't drink sweet drinks, so I skipped the drinks. It is very disappointing on the long wait and I feel bad for the waiter. He was being blamed by all customers due to no food being served for most tables. And lady next to us left after 20 mins wait without eating. Noted that we are the only booking for the day and restaurant only arranged limited staff to provide service. Not sure if the owner would like to run the shop, as no one will expect there is no walk in customer during lunch time and did not allocate staff to the shop. Saw many advisement all over Facebook and Instagram, however with such standard of service, I think it is very hard to attract repeat customer. Heard there is live band every Friday 5pm, however, probably wont come back again.
