Coffee is distilled, rich and aromatic. Such premium quality is worth it at this price. We sat at the bar and could see the staff jostling the round-bottomed glasses to distil the coffee. Carbonara was a bit too light for my liking. Tomato-based risotto was also a bit too sweet. One major critique was that customer service could have been better. The waitress couldn’t have been more blunt in telling me “no” when I asked for more milk for the coffee. It felt like I was begging for a favour.
