Always wanted to go to this bakery for a long time, seen lots of good reviews about them, so I had very high expectations. This morning My husband and I got there at 8:55, the house was already full. During our waiting, my husband bought two coffee and two egg tarts. We were so disappointed, the tarts were fridge cold, the pastry was under cooked. The tarts were definitely not freshly cooked. Tarts should be served hot(at least warm).After half an hour waiting we got a table. We ordered mushroom

During our waiting, my husband bought two coffee and two egg tarts. We were so disappointed, the tarts were fridge cold, the pastry was under cooked. The tarts were definitely not freshly cooked. Tarts should be served hot(at least warm).
After half an hour waiting we got a table. We ordered mushroom on toast(poached eggs, mushroom and spinach on sour dough toast) , triple cooked rosemary fries and French toast. The poached eggs were cold which was not enjoyable to eat. Fries were ok, but definitely not triple cooked. It was soft, and no rosemary flavour at all. The only thing we enjoyed the most was the French toast.
Before we left, we asked one of the staffs, are the egg tarts hot? She said yes they are hot. So we told her we had two cold tarts earlier(9:20). She said coz they were cooked early in the morning. I don’t about other people’s experiences of eating egg tarts. But for me, I don’t think egg tarts should be served fridge (room temperature is fine).
Overall, we will definitely not be going back.
