從前步行回家必經伊利近街。住半山? 非也。墨爾砵老家落在大學城區，位於"羊毛衫街"(Cardigan Street)尾段，被伊利近街（Elgin Street）切割。若各下往墨大觀光，別錯過附近的Lygon Street (AKA "Little Italy")。與校園一街之隔竟是美食天堂，空氣恆常嗅到醇美香濃的Espresso、燙嘴的出爐Pizza、al dente的各式Pasta 、輕怡清新的Gelato... 還有特大號鬆軟Blueberry Muffin、 甜而不膩的Rhubarb Pie、 美味可口的Pecan Pie等… 光想著也垂涎三尺，學生哪有理由不走堂？(法律系的走得最兇）言歸正傳，悠閒的周末，又是以 Brunch會香蕉老表。對Soho區同名的Elgin是懷有親切感的。老表選的店門庭若市，店前守候著待祭五臟的老外。Complimentary bread - Ciabatta: freshly baked out of the oven, nicely seasoned, and slightly chewy to the bite (the correct cons

Spaghetti in chilli tomato sauce: i have nothing against tinned tomatoes if they are of good quality... only tasted acidity here without any sweetness... tomatoes' best friend basil was nowhere in sight.. flavour's boring
Meatballs: they used the same sauce as above
Tagliatelle in pesto sauce with peas: interesting combination.
Gourmet burger: a burger with an egg geez how special was that.
Verdict: 半山區，名校網，近行人電梯， 裝潢簡約，九成實用， 極高樓底 ，開放式廚房，上乘用料，璀璨夜景…
筍盤推介其實是Lygon Street。
