This is my favorite HK style tea restaurant recently. But in fact, Sun Kee noodles have been well-known for years, I still remember going to Tsim Sha Tsui just to taste its signature Cheese noodles during the summer vacation when I was still studying (the good old days... 😂) . Sun Kee recently opened a new branch in Tsuen Wan. This is definitely a must - go for cheese fans.
For the cheese noodles, you can tell it is loaded with their signature cheese sauce, yet it never made me feel that the dish was too heavy or too salty. They are pretty generous with the portion too, always giving quite a few sausages and patties, ordering noodle dishes, the milk tea (which kinda is the core of HK tea restaurants) is also very legit, you can't complain much at this price. The stir-fried pasta with tomato and cheese is also delicious, freshly cooked and the sweet and sour flavours would definitely increase your appetite.
Overall, the shop is very "human", staff are very friendly and it's one of the best places you could experience the human side of local HK people in a city filled with cold blooded skyscrapers.
