I walked in out of curiosity as I saw 蛇湯 featured outside of the little hole-in-the-wall snake shop.After a sip of the 蛇湯 and my brain went “好味!" I had this déjà vu feeling as it tasted like the 烏雞湯 that my mom made all the time. The taste of 淮山, 杞子, and 藥材味 were strong yet very soothing. After a bowl I felt instantly warmed up and almost sweated. Saw a lot of snake concoctions and snakes wines there, and this store seemed like the real deal.Next time I will have to try their 蛇羮!
