Made my way to Wish You A Mamaday, which has recently relocated to Kyoto Plaza in Causeway Bay! — Didn’t expect to see gyukatsu at a café, so we had to try this out! The beef cutlet was perfectly deep fried, giving it that amazing crispy and crunchy exterior, whilst the beef was still juicy on the inside. The set also came with a delicious poached egg rice which was so flavourful and creamy. It also had a strong sesame and soy aroma to it which made it extra tasty! Loved that this was also served with a prawn salad to help lighten up the flavours. The prawns were also really well seasoned!

— How good does this look! 🤤 The dish is served with an entire lobster tail which was nicely seasoned with a range of herbs and spices for extra flavour. The pasta was coated with their cheesy garlic sauce which wasn’t overly heavy. Flavours in this were very well balanced!

— Great way to start off the meal! The salmon tasted fresh, and was well marinated with the perfect amount of savoury elements and acidity to it, which really opens up your appetite. Loved the crispy tortilla slices which went so well with the tartare!

— I love sweet potato and I love cheesecake, so I knew I had to try this out! Loved the colours and different layers, which gave the cheesecake a variety of textures and flavours. The cream cheese layer was smooth, with a strong cheese flavour that was perfectly sweetened too. The sweet potato taste was quite prominent, and it added a nice chew to the cake.

— A refreshing frappe option. The flavours are quite mild and can wash down the rich flavours of your meal.
