I have dropped by one of the branches and found a super long queue of customers at 5pm so I have decided to come back again before their service end at 10pm. I only had to wait for around 5 minutes when I arrived at 10pm with their last order deadline by 10.30pm.
Bacon cheese burger ($172)At first, I was told that the bun would be replaced by two pieces of white bread but luckily I still got two normal pieces of buttered burger bun!
I have asked for medium rare and the burger was cooked with a slightly overcooked pink centre, topped with a semi-melted cheese and two strips of bacon, and a side of fries with ketchup.
Though the bun was buttered, the bacon was not really that crispy while the cheese was barely melted yet. The whole burger was pretty juicy/fatty therefore the whole bottom bun was all soagy which was inedible. The pink center beef tasted with okay with a light taste of beef flavour while the cheese was also pretty mild in taste.
Comparatively, the fries were cooked and seasoned nicely with a good crunch, yet without being overly salted.
With the burger free, we still had to pay the 10% service charge which is $17.2. What more can I ask for for a $17.2 burger? I was in fact more than happy that I could try this burger without queueing up, yeah!
