dinner at 8pm , but main course didnt arrive until nearly 10pm ... ( with 2 reminders ... )restaurant was kinda busy , nearly full house until 9:30pmtaste is actually ok , quite homely italian.but the male waiter seem a bit ... gormless .... first off to order drinks , placed 2 mocktails , and then he just went off without asking the third diner ... wth??.... oh well .... flag him back ... ask for some water for table , and he just bring 1 glass filled to the brim .... WTH >.< ??? yes ,

took a little while to get the drinks.
had 2 starters to share (unfortunately was told the scallops special was sold out after order put in )
also starters came 1 at a time ... ( doesnt matter much to me , but for some diners this may not be expected from western restaurant )
* swordfish carpaccio with avocado & salad - not 100% used to taste of raw swordfish , wasnt great (could be personal taste )
* beef carpaccio with rocket & parmesan flakes - nice , fresh subtle taste.
3 mains to share - but came 1 .... then ... ?? wheres the rest ... ???
* grilled snapper with mushrooms - actually best dish of the evening , quite fishy smelly though , good for fish lover, could be initially off putting if hate smelly fish.
cooked very nicely , soft , juice but still thorough , saute mushroom compliments well.
then ..... once finished ... still other main course still not arrived, its 9:30pm now ... asked waiter ... please check .... so he does ... and .... .... okay .... lets ask someone else ..... keep turning the head around and looking and looking , ah, will be 5 more minutes ... geee thanks for letting us know. ( next table who came in after us had finished and paid and was leaving now .... )
* mushroom risotto - ok flavour, assortment of mushrooms; button, oyster & other long stem ones.
* finally, pesto linguine with beans and potatoes garnished with basil & pinenuts - with a generous amount of parmesan shavings - ok flavour
total bill was 932 ( inc 10% service ) .... good/average homely italian , but value for money ... ? probably not ....
