Friends suggested to go green and found VeggieSF in Central. When I arrived there, the 50s theme and the wonderful atmosphere surprised me. It looks like I went to the restaurant in San Francisco. The decorations are fancy but it is quite dark. My friend reserved the seats already and we didn’t need to wait there. I went there with 3 of my friends and they served us with a little table. The table is rather small and spacious is limited. In fact, all tables there are all small.We ordered 5 dishes
We ordered 5 dishes to share and the first one is the Thai skewers. The taste looks like eating meat but the Thai sauce is not enough.
Vietnamese style mixed with vermicelli with fried tofu & skewers is duplicated with the Thai skewers before expect with vermicelli and tofu.
The creamy soy tomato sauce organic pasta with cheese and assorted veggies is yummy. The sauce is attractive and full of organic vegetables.
For the organic lasagna with assorted veggies and cheese, the pasta is very good but it is quite heavy with full of baked cheese.
I love the burger with potato pumpkin wedges & beetroot pate and tomato a lot. I like the sweet beetroot pate and the sauce is perfect matched in the burger. The size is quite high. It is difficult to cut into pieces.
My friends ordered organic teas and I ordered iced peppermint tea. It takes a longer time to mix it.
In a word, the atmosphere is good and the tasted is better than my expectation a lot. But it is not a comfortable area for chit-chat in a limited spacious. Another important point is that they don't accept credit card. Only CASH
