Mira recently has a 65th anniversary promotion including Cuisine  Cuisine and Whisk where the price is reduced to $650(the original price should be about $900-$1000). Moreover, many of these promotions may charge the 10% service charge for the original price but for this promotion, they charge the 10% of the discounted price, which made this promotion even more better.  I booked Cuisine Cuisine today and next week I will be going to Whisk. The first dish actually felt more like a fusion of Thai

The first dish actually felt more like a fusion of Thai and Japanese with the fish sauce, lime, grapefruit and Hokkaido scallops. The spice and sour definitely was appetizing and complemented the sweetness of the scallops.

The shrimp soup was aromatic with the tangerine peel though I felt it was a bit less aromatic compared to its use in desserts.

The lobster was cooked just right and remained springy.

I was slightly disappointed with the belly. The honey was too strong for the glaze making the dish too sweet and overpowered the tangerine peel and black olive. Also as they used so much honey, it actually became a bit sticky to eat and it keeps on sticking onto different parts of your mouth.

Their deep fried sea cucumber definitely made me forget about the last dish.

It was not oily and the crispy exterior and the sea cucumber and meats different texture altogether was really great combo.

The rice had just the right amount of truffle aroma without shadowing the sweetness of the pumpkin. There was also plenty of crab inside.

I have to say I preferred last year's creme brulee as I am not a fan of almond cream but for those who love almond cream, you will definitely enjoy it.
Can't wait for my meal next week at Whisk.
