The sichuan restaurant is a newly opened restaurant in a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The place is decorated with traditional ruby red colour and leather short seats. The place is relatively new therefore no wait was needed. $88 for lunch set which come with buckwheat tea, a bowl of daily soup, steamed rice, an appetizer and a hot dish.As soon as we were seated two types of snacks were prvided and they cost $10 each. The spicy peanuts are nice and I think it's best to go with a glass of chilled beer.

The shredded chicken was soft with a light taste of sesame seed, along with some shredded scallion. It was again okay, and the taste was a bit tailored to local sine I was expecting a strong sesame taste.

The best dish among all, the shredded eel was cooked with some mushroom, starchy clear noodles. The dish was swimming in a pool of chili oil yet it was not too spicy. It was instead very flavourful with a mixed of Chinese spices including cumin, and numbing seeds. It was just so great to go with a bowl of steamed jasmine rice.
