Finally Hong Kong has a good bakery, in expat terms a reasonable bakery because the ones around are just inferior and local due to ingredients and and the way they make them. There are always queues and queues since it opened which is a good sign but I haven't been able to get what I want as it was sold out.The items that I would want to try are the sourdough egg tart but again couldn't get it so I got a donut! It was good in Hong Kong terms in the sense there wasn't any rancid oil and the donut w

It was good in Hong Kong terms in the sense there wasn't any rancid oil and the donut was soft and fluffy.
Inside it was filled with lots of jam.

Overall, it was not bad but I don't think I tried something that represents the BAKEHOUSE properly.
The trouble with the donut is that it ranks the same level as Marks and Sparks.
For real Western bakeries, it is just hard for them to produce a crappy donut because it is just fried dough!!
