rmb my last visit to this dessert shop? i ordered a hot chinese sweet soup and it turned out to be NOT a good pick in the middle of the hot summer. this time my mum and i wanted to eat something cool and refreshing-as a result we picked the taiwanese snowflake ice as our after dinner treat to ourselves.we ordered a mango taiwanese snowflake ice to share-after waiting for five minutes, we were presented with a big plate of flaked ice, yellowish in color. we tried a spoonful and found it to be som
we ordered a mango taiwanese snowflake ice to share-after waiting for five minutes, we were presented with a big plate of flaked ice, yellowish in color. we tried a spoonful and found it to be something different from we have expected. in a positive sense, of course-from the literal meaning of the name of this dessert, we thought it wud be similar to 'pao bing'-that sort of ice with no flavour in it but in the sauce. this flaked ice turned out to be much better-it tasted like mango icecream while looking like flaked ice it was good. especially when the night temperature was as high as 30c outside.
all in all, from the comments below i was given the impression that this shop serves not the best flaked ice in town-yet for a first encounter with this new and interesting kind of dessert for me and my mum, this has certainly given me a very good impression.
a 9.5 out of 10.
