This is about our 15th visit to La Fleur. There are 3 reasons for going to La Fleur.1. Food: If you were driving around France and arrived in the evening in a small town and found this restaurant serving this food you'd be delighted. The food is very good, always well prepared and typically regional French.2. Wine: First their wine list is French but very wide and extraordinarily cheap given the vintages they offer of Bordeaux and Burgundy reds. You can also bring along your own bottle for which
1. Food: If you were driving around France and arrived in the evening in a small town and found this restaurant serving this food you'd be delighted. The food is very good, always well prepared and typically regional French.
2. Wine: First their wine list is French but very wide and extraordinarily cheap given the vintages they offer of Bordeaux and Burgundy reds. You can also bring along your own bottle for which you may be charged a small corkage fee. So if you want to learn about French wine at reasonable prices and where the wine is of an age at which it should be drunk go to La Fleur.
3. The chef: If you have enjoyed the meal and you thank the chef you will get in return the 'best' and broadest smile in Hong Kong.
