Boyfriend and I came here for dinner one evening as a change of pace as we realized we rarely eat this type of food. We had noticed the signage on the building while riding the escalators of Hysan Place across the street and wondered what it was about.

It's a colorful restaurant. Menu is in English and Chinese with photos.

Hainan Chicken ($98). When eating Singaporean, Hainan chicken is one of the first things on our mind. They have Hainan chicken that you can order as a whole bird, half a bird or a quarter size portion. We chose the quarter size portion for $98. There was a layer of sauce on it that was actually more sweet than how I am used to but boyfriend said when he was in Singapore, he had Hainan chicken that tasted like this. The chicken is boneless and very moist.

Black Pepper and Lemon Chicken Pot ($88). It wasn't as spicy as I was expecting but there was a still a fair amount of pepper. The chicken was moist and tender. The sauce was a bit spicy.

Satay ($78). You get a choice of chicken, pork or beef and they come half dozen portion size. We chose two chicken, two pork and two beef. The beef was a bit dry. But the pork and chicken were pretty good. It came with a very chunky satay sauce which is how I like it.

Grilled Stingray with Sambal Sauce ($118). The sambal sauce wasn't as spicy as most other places so that was ok for me as I can't eat too spicy. The stingray was really moist and not over grilled.

Char Kuay Teow ($88). This was more sweet than what I was used to for char kuay teow. However, it wasn't spicy at all so if you are expecting it to be spicy, you might be disappointed. But as I can't eat spicy, I was really ok with it. The prawns were fresh tasting. What was interesting was the slices of Chinese sausage. It tasted like pork jerky. I was addicted.

Prawn Crackers. We saw they had an ad saying that if you like their facebook page, you get a free bowl of prawn crackers! Always love freebies, this was pretty good in my book. Crunchy chips. What's not to like? And for free, they sure give you a lot!

The food was ok. A nice option for the usual places in Causeway Bay. I saw they have lunch sets so may return for lunch some day.
