There is a hidden BBQ shop at Sai Wan near HKU MTR station. The name of the shop is called Baby Satay. The shop is really hidden which you wouldn’t normally notice. I would suggest you call in advance to reserve your meats as they are really a takeaway shop. Everything is raw and must be cooked when you are back home. Our order came with their own brand of mini grill which was nice as we were able to grill our food on the mini grill. The order also came with 2 boxes of peanut sauce, one is spicy and the other is non-spicy. The mini grill is perfect as the top part is to grill the meat and the bottom is to heat the sauce. The cooking was easy as they actually give you instructions on how to cook. I managed to not overcook the meat which was lucky. Now, the meats were well marinated and full of flavors. They were well paired with the peanut sauce. I personally preferred the spicy peanut sauce as it gives out more flavor. Overall, everything was great and easy to cook. This is great when you invite a group of friends over for a gathering as this will easily fill people up. Everyone will certainly be enjoying themselves, especially during the cooking to part to see who grill the best!!!
