I have ordered Pizza Express via online dining platform before, and I love the pizza there a lot. To celebrate my mum’s birthday, I visited the restaurant for the first time and had a nice dinner with my family. The time we visited the place was quite busy, and therefore even we took ticket in advance, it still took around 20min for us to get in.As most of us are girls, we just simply ordered a set for four. As most of us are girls, we just simply ordered a set for four. For this set, there are 2 Starters + 3 Mains + 4 Drinks, which we believed that the portion should be enough for all of us.
For starters, we ordered <Meatballs & Bolognese 意式焗肉丸> and <Avocado & Tomato Dip 牛油果番茄沾醬>. To be honest, personally I dislike avocado. Yet, this appetiser is really great that the smell and texture of avocado will not take over the taste of this appetiser. Avocado and tomato dip have been a good combination to do a balance. Stronger recommend to those who may not alike avocado!
For mains, we chose 2 spaghetti and 2 pizzas.
Both spaghetti are up-to-standard and unexpectedly good!

Before ordering it, I thought it would be in tomato sauce. The chili has been the key of this spaghetti, which brings us to another level of taste.
Yet, it is a pity that the pizzas are not up to my expectation.

The olives are too salty for me, and the basil is too sour for me.

I think the pizza is quite sweet for me. Yet the taste is still good and worth to try.
For drinks, I chose a cup of cranberry juice, which is good to wash down the grease.
Overall, the taste of food is averagely good. The portion of set for 4 is not enough for 5 people, which we were not too full afterwards. The price is still acceptable with such quality of food
