NOOT is a new coffee shop that opened in my neighbourhood recently. It's quite popular as it's closer to Causeway Bay than the actual heart of Happy Valley. I ordered a latte ($42). It was smooth with a nice bit of latte art. A tiny bit of nuttiness with not too much milk.
I always want a bit of cake with my coffee so chose the New York Cheesecake ($48). It seemed they always seem to run out of any other cakes as every time I've wandered by, this is the only cake available. I start to wonder if they offer any other cake? Or is it a weekend only thing because I only come here on weekdays? Any ways ... the cake was ok. Creamy and rich. Oddly it had no crust so it was just one creamy texture with no real distinct flavour. So, it was like eating cream. I think a little bit of crust would have made it pop. But then I'm picky about cakes and cheesecakes are often on the bottom of my must order list.
It was a nice cafe but not worth waiting for a table for.
