My wife and I love noodles and our favorite 拉麵 restaurants in Central are 札幌元祖北海道拉麵 Sapporo Japanese Restaurant at the Exchange Square and 豚王 Butao Ramen at 和安里.We read about this 秀拉麵 Hide-Chan Ramen at 威靈頓街in the magazine and decided to give it a try tonite. This 秀拉麵 is actually not owned by the parent shop in Japan but a franchised shop operated by the 美麗華 group. The deco is quite nice with modern minimalist design and the staff are very warm and helpful. The price of food is a little bit more

This 秀拉麵 is actually not owned by the parent shop in Japan but a franchised shop operated by the 美麗華 group. The deco is quite nice with modern minimalist design and the staff are very warm and helpful. The price of food is a little bit more expensive than the other two shops.
The 拉麵 we ate tonite did not match up with the two other shops:
- The soup was thick but could have been richer in meat aroma. May be it was cooked with pork meat and bone only but not chicken meat and bone.
- The noodle was thin and did not hold the soup.
- The 叉燒 & egg were quite average.
All in all, it is an average ramen shop and we have no intention to visit it again.
