Palette is a stylish buffet I visited during its 40% discount special beach promotion of $350 per person. Of the main courses my favorite was the gnocchi, which was very flavorful and indulgent for those cheese lovers as well as steamed fish in creamy sauce. However, some of the meat dishes were not as tender as they could have been.
There was a very large seafood selection, some of which can be cooked for you for example the large tasty oysters as well as giant shrimp in Chinese broth with vermicelli. This was the highlight of the buffet and one of the most popular offerings.
The desserts were very decadent as well as creative. My favorite was the bread pudding with custard, which was creamy and very delectable. Lychee jelly was imaginatively placed into an oyster shell to look like beautiful pearls. There was also a nice selection of Haagen-Daz ice cream flavours including summer flavours like Mango and Rasberry.
I was pleased to receive a complementary cocktail along with my meal. There were three different flavours to choose from, mine was mango flavored and was similar to the taste of a refreshing mango lassi.
