Taste & Value:
My sister has been talking about this Green Tea Roll($150) for a LONG TIME, but we had never bought it because of its price.
Like all Japanese Omiyage, they are packed beautifully in thousands of layers. After spending some time unwrapping it, we finally got to the Green. I cut this amazing roll into 6 pieces. Man, was it ever good! It was not very sweet and the green tea flavour was rich to the max. The sponge cake part was very soft and moist. The cream was very light, but was a bit powdery and bitter from the matcha, which most matcha lovers would appreciate. Final Verdict:
It is quite an expensive treat, but everyone deserves a nice treat every once in a while!
