Came here for a private event, and we occupied the entire floor, including the private rooms. Unlike others hot pot places in Hong Kong, the venue is spacious, and they have very comfy sofa chairs. I never knew hot pot places have got karaoke until my last visit in The Pot House!!The Pot House has a wide range of choices on food selection. The Pot House has a wide range of choices on food selection. Not only the local hot pot, but Japanese sashimi that was served with dry ice, making it looked extra cool!! The sashimi was generally fresh, but the geoduck was disappointing!! The manager told us that he saved 10 pounds of geoduck for us, and we were expecting them to be fresh! The moment we had the geoduck, we were all thinking did you save us all the seafood that were about to go bad... We finished all the sashimi anyway, but we cooked the raw geoduck in the hot pot just in case!!
Except for the geoduck, everything else were good!! Beef were nice, and even the fried tofu as the appetiser was amazing!!
We ordered some fungus as well, and they came with a cage!! This is as cool as the dry ice sashimi! Haha
Other than the mushrooms, we ordered something that is not commonly found in hot pot restaurants - crystalline iceplant!!!! It is super nice and fresh!! Didn't expect it to go well with hotpot soooo much!!!
