Dear Customers, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was the worse Omakase Experience I ever had. Here are the reasons why: 1) Food - The sushi was not fresh- I nearly choked on one of the sushi because it was so not tender - I can get equivalent quality food at 千倆, which is a popular chain restaurants and prices are half of what I paid for this - Not only was the food not fresh, the food was so not unique either. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was the worse Omakase Experience I ever had.
Here are the reasons why:
1) Food
- The sushi was not fresh
- I nearly choked on one of the sushi because it was so not tender
- I can get equivalent quality food at 千倆, which is a popular chain restaurants
and prices are half of what I paid for this
- Not only was the food not fresh, the food was so not unique either. There excuse was that we didn't get a good chef. While a chef does make a whole of a difference, it shouldn't be that far off. Especially when we paid so much for it
- In addition to that, we tried all three tiers of the omakase (expensive, medium expensive, and not so expensive). To be honest, the amount of food and the quality was almost the same across all three tiers. It makes me wonder why did i pay an additional $600 dollar for that
2) Service
- The service was not horrible, but it was not great either
- The food took a while to come, and when it did come, they barely did much explanation on where the
the food came from, and how we should eat it for the best experience
- Even after we told them how bad the food was, the gave us no discounts or free food. Of course we are not complaining so we can get free food, but if you sincerely took our suggestions, you would have done something to compensate for your poor service and food.
Overall, this was a nightmare dinner for my parents and I. Please don't ever try it, its a complete waste of money
