Pork Chop with Vegies Rice
Pork was done ok-well here, surprisingly. Not dry and even had some 'sugary' marinated but pork taste. The Vegies RIce lacks pork rendered oil as is traditional, here its healthier. At least the Bok Choy pieces weren't overcooked.
Buddha's Hat
Eggs were wok-fried as long shreds pretty well. Some people like them rawer, some like them carry a bit of wok-chi such as here. Both suits me fine. The pile of very watery vegies and vermicelli under, with a bland sauce wasn't overly appealing compared to the best of the best versions I've tried before. Here, whilst the Egg cover was ok-good, the hidden vegies under were below-average.
Shrimp Roe Tofu
This had a really watery and slightly 'sweet' sauce as well, but surprisingly the shrimps roe taste was definitely there. The deep-fried Tofu have softened again in the sauce, but that's how it is suppose to be eaten. Although this wasn't impressive - its similar enough to the Peking Garden version, may be even better than there, that I would re-order it as long as you don't expect a top quality dish.

OVERALL - IT REALLY WAS ACCEPTABLE. HAVEN'T BEEN BACK TO 美味廚 FOR A LONG TIME, LIKE YEARS ALREADY, TO COMPARE, BUT FROM MEMORY, ITS NOT FAR OFF FROM THAT QUALITY.
