Finished shopping in H&M (Central) with my BFFs on Sat as we got nowhere to go afterward. It’s like around 4-5pm and it’s a bit late for lunch yet early for dinner. So we’re going to grab some food or have a coffee.Walking along the D’Aguilar Street, There’re way to many bars, as we’re not going for alcohol so soon in daytime. My friend remembered there’s a place up there which is newly launching an Afternoon Tea. She used to go to there for shisha while she saw a promotion of the Afternoon Tea

My friend remembered there’s a place up there which is newly launching an Afternoon Tea. She used to go to there for shisha while she saw a promotion of the Afternoon Tea period which is kind of attracting. Perfect! Let’s go & have a try then.
Got right up to the place at 21/F in Ho Lee Commercial Building. Well, it’s probably not a café. Anyway it’s my first time here.
There’re plenty of seats since it’s only 4-5pm. And we chose to seat outside in the balcony for the nice view. Open up the menu as there’s only one choice for food-The Afternoon Tea set. Sure we ordered a set for 2 and it’s only $300 (a quite reasonable price) which included 2 drinks, you can choose any coffee/tea.
Yeah, that’s what we’re expecting: a 3 tier cake stand, so pretty
Let’s take look at each layer:Bottom layer: Small cakes & Macaroons
Wide selection & macaroon is my favorite: we got that purple (lavender) & brown (chocolate) flavors, so cute! The lavender color is rarely beautiful. They taste slightly sweet with a crunchy texture on the outside & a bit sticky inside. But the portion is a bit smaller than the regular one. And the chocolate flavor is average, no surprise but ok.2nd layer: Mini burger & Pastry
I prefer to have tomato sauce with the mini burger, so it may not be so dry in that way. If a little bit of veggie is added would be perfect. The beef is warm & juicy & can tell that it’s freshly prepared.Top layer: Scones with Clotted cream & Jam
Classic, the size is bit smaller than usual, but it’s ok!
For drinks, we have ordered Iced Coffee & Jasmine Tea.
We’re so full after all and can’t even finish the little half of the scones as we saved for last LOL. Anyway it made my day as we didn’t have to go for dinner at all.
題外話/補充資料：
We will probably back for the Tea set again. By the way the Afternoon Tea period is from 3-6pm daily.
