Was shopping at PP with my lady friend in search of some party dresses. After hours of hunting, we were totally exhausted and starving!! We were on the 3rd floor and came across this pretty café, well decorated with flowers! It’s just so girly and fancy that we just found ourselves sitting there without checking what’s on the menu.So we were offered the afternoon tea menu, there were quite some savoury and sweet choices. We were on the 3rd floor and came across this pretty café, well decorated with flowers! It’s just so girly and fancy that we just found ourselves sitting there without checking what’s on the menu.
So we were offered the afternoon tea menu, there were quite some savoury and sweet choices. As we were studying the menu, the waitress came near and heard us looking for scones. It was to our surprise that she told us the scones were not on the menu but available for order! (Wow secret item!) So we ordered 4 scones!
They came with raspberry rose jam and cream. The scone itself was okay, not too dry which I hated, sweetness well balanced especially when you paired with the jam.
The jam was not very spreadable tho and the cream was cold and hard.
Guess I would come back for some more fusion desserts next time!
