After watching a movie, we were starving and ordered an Appetiser as well as the Afternoon Tea.We picked this cafe because it was located at the heart of the Airside mall and had a relaxing ambience. Enjoyed the Cannele the most. It was moist and had a mild chewy and a soft gelatinous steamed egg custard texture.
Earl Grey scone was buttery and extremely crumbly. Extremely thick and tasty jam (raspberry and apricot) and served with whipped cream - which personally is slightly disappointing because for me, no scones can truly be scones if not served with a huge splatter of clotted cream.
Filling of the sandwiches is delicious, but bread is a bit drying for my liking. As someone who loves savoury food, I like the taste of the filling.
Desserts here in the set were not absolutely my cup of tea, therefore, I will skip my comments on them.
