We are a big fan of deep fried tidbits, if you are like us please make sure to try the fritters platter. There were four items, each came in a pair, served with a mayo. /Stuffed crab shell with crab meats, corns and shredded carrots, it’s so beautiful and delicious. /Golden shrimp toasts, very tasty but I wish the shrimp paste was a little thicker./Deep fried fish fillets, very crispy and went well with the mayo. /Sweet potato mochi fingers, chewy and yummy, my mom’s favourite The iced taro milk

The iced taro milk was amazing. Fresh cold milk with nicely mashed taro, with authentic flavours and no noticeable sugary addition. Love it.
Then, we challenged ourselves to this spicy kimchi tofu veggie pot with pork slices. NO JOKE THIS IS HELLUVA SPICY. There were 4 levels and we chose the less spicy, but I warn you it’s still VERY SPICY! The kimchi was very spicy itself and there’s a bit of chilli powder in the broth.
There were a lot of veggies and ingredients, even tiny clams and pig’s blood rice cakes, underneath the pork slices, as you could see in the picture. Our favourite was the fish tofu cube and the quail egg, yes the quail egg was SUPERB. The yolk was impressively velvety and we loved it.
Of course we started out with a Taiwanese steamed bun with minced pork and pickles, since this is a Taiwanese restaurant. My Alishan Oolong tea was very fragrant.
